Location

The hotel is located in the Polígono Industrial de Palmones industrial park, the heart of the Bay of Gibraltar, and a few kilometres from the city of Algeciras as well as Los Barrios, Gibraltar and Sotogrande. It is only 5 minutes' drive from the nearest beach and 30 minutes from the famous beaches of Tarifa. Jerez Airport, Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport and San Pablo Airport are situated approximately 96 km, 135 km and 187 km away from the hotel, respectively.

Facility

3 junior suites, 100 single rooms and 100 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     When making my reservation, I specifically selected a room with a double bed and a bath. However, upon arrival at the property, I was assigned a room with two single beds and a shower. When I raised this issue with the staff, I was informed that the room type was “subject to availability,” despite the fact that the booking website allowed me to select and confirm the double bed and bath option. This left me feeling misled.Additionally, I could not help but question whether this issue was related to the fact that I was traveling with my partner, who is also a man. At reception, I was told that their system was down and that nothing could be done to resolve the situation. The staff appeared unprepared and uncertain, and I did not wish to insist further for fear of becoming a bothersome guest.Later that evening, I discovered that the shower had no hot water. I attempted again the following morning, but the issue persisted. At this point, I filed a complaint online with the hotel, but the only response I received was a generic apology.I am extremely disappointed by this experience. I chose this hotel despite higher prices compared to nearby alternatives, believing I would receive the amenities and service that were advertised. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As a result, I will not be returning to this hotel brand, and certainly not to this particular location.     The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is excellent . At breakfast everything is very well done and organised with a good variety , if needed the kitchen can prepare home made food for you . The juices could be improved by replacing them to natural fruit juices .     Hotel has a good sized rooms, it is clean and the breakfast is great. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It is near the highway and a perfect stop if you have any business in the area. It is near all the activities on the coast and approximately 30 minutes to the Gibraltar. In all, I'd recommend this hotel.
