    We had a very happy stay. The room was delightful and the meals were yummy. (Try their deep-fried aubergine bar snack and their pigs' cheeks in the restaurant.) It was wonderful to be back in Spain. My partner is in a wheelchair. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, taking so much of the strain off me. Thank you to everyone involved.     A lovely hotel perfectly located nearby the bridge between Spain and Portugal. Fantastic views. A lovely welcome on arrival when we checked in. The room was exceptionally nice, clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent, comfortable with crisp linen. Breakfast was usual Paradores, good selection of cold items and with some hot options available to order. Certainly on our return to list when we head that way again to Portugal.     This is a lovely hotel in a nice location but unfortunately for me there are several cats roaming the cafe terrace and one that spends it’s time in the lounge which meant I couldn’t because I am allergic to cats and cat hair.
