  Just back from a week at this hotel. Loved it!Surrounded by unspoiled country and beaches this is a stunning location. If you want discos English pubs and food this is not for you, it's not the costal del Sol. No high rise beachside hotels.If you want to be around friendly Spanish people without hoards of English and German tourists give it a try.The food at the hotel is excellent and very varied, fantastic seafood. The staff friendly polite ,try basic Spanish it's appreciated and will help you enjoy the experience more.There is no getting away from the fact that the clientele is mainly Spanish and is geared to them.My granddaughters loved the slides and pool and always found something to eat each day, big thanks to the pastry chef for some delicious pastries.The area is famous for its " Gambas( prawns) and are in plentiful supply. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable the staff excellent, what more do you want.It's true there is not much around other than the beautiful countryside and sea,if you like cycling, running or just walking you will enjoy it.   If your English DO NOT book this hotel we couldn’t interact with any daytime activities or nighttime entertainment due to the language barrier, not one Brit in sight and no staff speak English. Made to feel uncomfortable when asking for help or information. Pool doesn’t open till 11am the shop sells inflatables however you are not allowed them in the pool. The food is terrible room cleaning is shocking found bottle tops/dirt under the beds on arrival etc.. did put a complaint in however the manager has lied to cover their back even though we have proof and evidence of all of it! Very disappointed wasted a lot of money to come here.   I just came back yesterday from this hotel. My family and kids 3 & 5 really enjoyed themselves. The hotel was quiet with a few busy days with locals coming over for a weekend break. This was brilliant as it meant the kids could have loads of space in every pool, and take as many turns without waiting for slides. They had slides catering for all ages and fears (which was very helpful- working the way up to the bigger slides).There was golf, table tennis and other games to book- no extra payments needed.Alcohol branded- not the ‘local’ stuff usually given at all inclusives. There were 2 premium options for all inclusive but only one when booking online. We got there and saw there was a premium imperium which gave more options but not much of a difference only noticed it with the ice cream tbf. The cocktails on the imperium were rubbish.The staff were amazing. Especially kids club, evening entertainment and catering. However, the food on some nights wasn’t as consistent as others - chicken and fish being slightly overcooked and salty. But in general, good variety and something for everyone. Bathrooms in hotel room are large, 2 showers and 1 bath, enclosed toilet. The only thing I would say is the actual rooms are a bit of a disappointment the large double beds are either pushed up close to each other or separated slightly. Not really much of an option for a bigger room with beds separated or bit of partition between rooms. But overall I would go back and kids loved it, saying they wanted to go back and stay.
