Dont go if you speak English. Totally geared towards the French and the Spanish and see tbh the French are ignorant. Go to the bar the staff let on they dont know what you are saying and laugh in groups at you making you feel small. The hotel is well kept and rooms are clean and towels changed daily buy honestly there is nothing to do in this area. The shops close around 130pm and open again around 5pm and there isnt many. There is also dog poo all over the streets and there isnt anything to do. the hotel entertainment is also is spanish/french so dont expect to have a good night at the entertainment. There is one bar open which you have to use tokens for and the queue is massive, its a pool bar the only one open yet there is a bar inside. The queues for dinner is also quite long and they allocate your seats. Lovely hotel but not if you are from the UK. Would never go again even if i was offered a free holiday. Just had the most fantastic time staying here ! Lovely staff one to mention Andrea on front desk always with a smile and happy to help. Although it’s very busy with kids entertainment there is a quieter pool for adults! So much going on if you want to join in and the staff work so hard and with a smile. The all inclusive meals were fantastic and something for everyone. The fish was fantastic as the area know for it. Isla Christina is a beautiful area and with the beach 10 min walk you get the best of both worlds . Finally you must us the wellness spa we had a hot stone massage and it was so good. Lovely staff and recommended treatments afterwards which I took. It was my first time all inclusive and the hotel didn’t disappoint. Only one thing is don’t log on to the WiFi as it’s not a secure network even though you give name and room number ! This hotel was very clean we had issues with the pool ie one was only open Friday sat sun when the Spanish people arrived for weekend every other day closed ridiculous as its a lovely pool at a quiet spot so instead had to trudge to family pool getting splashed and games played all around you coukdnt really swim the token system for the bar is ridiculous 1 token 1 drink had to take glass back to receive token big ques ignored to just get tokens back management arrogant and unhelpful reception staff on the whole good cleaning staff excellent food was a bit same every day not much facilities for a snack at lunchtime had to go in to main dining area entertainment was good even though in Spanish great atmosphere although very loud in room if you wanted bed early overall was a good holiday but a few snags I woukdnt ho back beach was dirty fog mess all the way to the beach Guest Experience Manager Isla Cristina, Guest Services / Front Office at Smy Isla Cristina, responded to this review Dear Moira,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
