The nearest beach is only around 4 km away (Playa Getares) and the beautiful beaches of Tarifa are just a few kilometres away.     The hotel is, generally, old. I think it was built in 2005 because the elevators have been installed in this year. The rooms are spacious, but old. Before Suittes Hotel, this hotel was a Mercure Hotel, and I think that the actual hotel wanted not to spend money on renovation. The room I stayed was close to the avenue and it was noisy even during night. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, which was basic and had not much variety, (and one person from staff who had a scooter parked it in the kitchen, which is just behind the buffet) with weird cakes that seemed old and fruits that were not fresh. The staff is good. This hotel has a lot of potential, but has to be explored further.

    Beautiful hotel in Algeciras close to everything one would desire. Shops bars pubs clubs and a decent array of restaurants seafood etc. our hotel room was very nice and modern plentiful to say the least. All in all we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.I would highly recommended booking here.

    One of the worst places in Spain. Window frames are broken, so you sleep with open windows. Very noisy. A lot of strange, old smell in the room, you can't even bare this smell. Including smell of towels and bed linens. Very poor breakfast.     We had booked the wrong size of apartment in error and they managed to accommodate us with an extra room which was helpful. The hotel is in a good location and there are shops nearby if you want to use your self-catering facilities. The port is not far away either. In terms of the self-catering there can be (but check what you are getting!) washing machines, microwaves, cookers etc. The car parking is very secure in that you need a member of staff to let you in and out. On arrival, stop outside and go to reception to get assistance for this. The only issue was you did feel like you could be potentially annoying each time you wanted to take the car out and in. However, the did always look patient!

    Quick 1 night stay in a 2 bedroom family room before taking the ferry to Morocco.The room was excellent size, clean and well decorated.The room also had a washer/dryer which was handy.It's not a close walk to the port or bus depot.Algeciras has limited taxi vans meaning if your party is more than 4 people you need to book 2 taxis.
