The complex, situated in the Urb Oliva Nova Golf, is located right beside the sea, with a 20 km-long natural sand dune beach, and also offers spa, golfing, and conference facilities. It is also very close (only 6 km away) to Oliva city, where guests can find numerous shopping facilities as well as various bars and restaurants. The town of Denia is around 18 km from the hotel and Valencia just 90 km away.

Deceptive. Unfair.

My experience as an intern at the Wellness Spa of Oliva Nova Golf has been deeply disappointing and, honestly, unfair.I was placed at this center through an internship program with Cim Formación Valencia, and I started with enthusiasm and commitment. I completed nearly 35 of the 50 required hours, carrying out my work with responsibility, professionalism, and dedication from day one. Clients were satisfied, and I always gave my best in every treatment.However, after a single minor incident—which was not related to the quality of my massage work, but rather to a conversation that a client apparently did not appreciate—I simply stopped being called in, without prior notice or any formal explanation. There was no opportunity to improve, no objective evaluation, and no recognition of all the work I had done up to that point.It is important to note that interns are not allowed to identify themselves as trainees to clients. This means we take on responsibilities as if we were fully qualified professionals, directly contributing to services that are charged at over €100 per session. In other words, we generate real revenue for the hotel while receiving no compensation and, in my case, not even the minimum recognition or proper closure of the internship.I believe this situation reflects a lack of respect for the efforts of students in training and raises important questions about how internships are managed in luxury establishments. Working for free under these conditions, without support or appreciation, should not be normalized.I am sharing this experience so that others can be informed and so that a fairer and more respectful treatment of interns can be encouraged.

Cleaners are thieves!

The cleaners robbed 2 €50 euros on the last day out of my room! Luz the receptionist was smiling / laughing when I told them and have done nothing. Absolutely terrible experience and not something you expect!

No need for guests

We went to the reception and asked for available rooms. They told us to check the website or booking.com….When we told the receptionist that we stayed in the hotel in February, he just looked uninterested and didn’t even check his system.So we tried booking.com but they only had rooms with 2 x 1 person bed available.So we asked of it was possible to change the beds. Answer: you have to ask this 1 day in advance. So we went to another hotel. No effort, no money…

Lovely stay - but be prepared for surprisingly poor staff demeanour.

Girlfiend & I just back from 5 night B&B stay at Oliva Nova to attend a family wedding in nearby Pego. Overall a positive Hotel experience, reasonably good breakfast & particularly enjoyed easy access to beautiful beach. But am compelled to comment on Hotel Staff attitude which was definitely not customer focussed, at times passive, and in one instance bordering on aggressive. I've stayed in hotels across Europe, Asia & Americas and am sure I wasn't imagining this. Of particular note was attitude from Restaurant Manager at El Olivo. After we complained about steaks which were clearly presented "raw" after we ordered them "well done", their waiter offered they would be further cooked & would be "on the house". Afterwards we were billed for the steaks, and when I objected to the Manager he quickly became visibly & audibly angry. We paid for the steaks if only to save the waiter from any negative fallout. Experienced poor attitude on at least three occasions. Oliva Nova should acknowledge this & recognise they should do something about it otherwise customers like us will find alternative Hotels to spend our money.

Good family time at Oliva Nova

While the location and the service in general at Oliva Nova is great, the quality of the hotel accomodation (room: bed quality, room equimpent) leaves room for improvement, while also need to mention that the food in the hotel is also very good. Very important to know - for kids only the outside swimmingpool can be used, not this inside one. This is very important to know when the weather is still not warm enough for outside water fun. In general, we spent good time with family.
