Location

The hotel is located right by the sea between Lake Albufera and the Mediterranean Sea.

2 suites and 63 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request.     Very unpleasant stay . Our room was clean but needed to be painted. Food and service in the dining room was very bad .We waited over an hour for service to order out meal. Only 2 staff on to do the dining room. Breakfast was also bad … lots of tables not cleared off . Again short staffed. Would not recommend this hotel. Nothing good to say about it only some of the staff were very nice but all under pressure. Won’t be back!     This was our 11th time staying in this wonderful Parador. We have always loved the hotel, the staff and superb location which is in a protected area.There is a path to, what must be, the quietest beach in Spain - unspoiled and natural, plus plenty of lovely walks through forests and lakes.Even though this hotel is in a quiet area there is still plenty to do. There is an excellent Spa, an outdoor swimming pool and a championship golf course. Plus a restaurant and a cafeteria. If that is not enough there is a little town just down the road for great value Spanish hospitality.Our final comment must be to praise the staff, who make this Parador so welcoming, with a special mention to the Parador Director who is the most visible hotel manager - always on hand to make sure that the hotel is perfect!!     Disappointing experience

    We had booked the special romantic February offer which in the email about it said we would get a special dinner menu , we actually got the ordinary menu with a valentines sweet despite saying we were on the offer , we later stayed with the same offer at the parador in Javea and there we received a lovely special 4 course menu with paired wines as part of the romantic February offer .we were told ( incorrectly as it turns out ) that the offer details were set centrally after I e mailed to complain .
