Little things go a long way

Nice and clean hotel but few niggling points.Negatives1) Room is rather bland. Could do with a few features like pictures on the wall etc. 2)Two double beds in one room even though we were a couple who asked for a double. Just took up space and looked cramped.3)No Netflix and TV wouldn't allow casting for some reason.4)We checked in late(midnight due to flight delay) so missed out on dinner. Upon checkout(we were full board) we did ask if we could have lunch as we had a later flight to be told no. I know it this isn't standard procedure but in light of us missing dinner on our first night I thought it would have been a nice gesture which would have cost the hotel nothing. We left with a sour taste in our mouths due to this.Positives1) Staff Friendly2)Food very good. Not a huge choice but more then enough if not too fussy.3) Hotel always clean. Ángel González Sánchez, Director General at Hotel RH Arena, responded to this review Thank you for your detailed review and for highlighting the positives. We are glad the staff, food and cleanliness were to your liking. We are sorry to hear about the experience at checkout. We would like to clarify that guests are always welcome to have their included meals on the day of departure, regardless of checkout time, as long as the service corresponds to their board plan. We take note of your other comments, and will pass them on to the relevant team.We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more complete experience. Kind regards,

Excellent for families (and for others as well)

Excellent hotel, I can only say good things about it. It is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and you can sleep peacefully and well. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the reception is always ready to assist with anything you may need. The food is delicious and varied, and children can always find something they like as well. There is plenty of fish and seafood, and there is always a local specialty, such as paella. But if you are in the mood for something else, there is still a wide variety of options to choose from.During our stay, we mainly met Spanish guests at the hotel, with relatively few foreign tourists. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed.Everything is very child-friendly, and the beach, which is also excellent, is no more than a 5-minute walk away. Ángel González Sánchez, Director General at Hotel RH Arena, responded to this review Thank you so much for your kind review, Miklós! We are thrilled to hear that the cleanliness, food variety, friendly staff and child-friendly atmosphere made your stay so enjoyable. The paella is always a favourite! We hope to welcome you back soon, whether with family or on your own.

Lovely hotel in a great location, perfect for family with teenqgers

A perfect hotel for a family holiday with 3 teenagers. Lovely, modern, stylish and clean with excellent meals. The all inclusive food and drink was of a high quality with plenty of variety. Very convenient for all the resort’s amenities and with a bus stop right outside, we managed to explore the area. Gandia old town was well worth a visit as was Valencia (where we visited by train). The two pools, range of games, gym and gaming room kept everyone entertained. Service was second to none and Sebi at the pool bar was exceptional. As well as making the best cocktails he was helpful and gave us tips on where to go (such as a visit to the Sumday evening market). Thank you Sebi and all the staff. Ángel González Sánchez, Director General at Hotel RH Arena, responded to this review Dear M S, thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that the hotel, the all inclusive experience and the facilities were a perfect fit for your family. We will make sure to pass on your kind words to Sebi — it sounds like he truly went above and beyond! We hope to welcome you and your family back soon.
