  This hotel was probably the worst hotel to stay at for my solo holiday for my birthday as a black woman. The staff were rude, hostile and unhelpful, there were instances where I would either ask for help/directions because at the time I had no service on my phone and the staff would dismiss me, secondly I tried to book a reservation at the hotel through the bar as instructed by the reception and the staff said something in Spanish, and everyone else laughed. I do not speak Spanish and it made me feel really uncomfortable, I don’t know if the staff are used to black people and or people outside of Spain, but they would never speak English, as a hotel you SHOULD speak some sort of English and I know they did, they just chose not to. I’ve never felt so alone in a hotel I paid good money to stay in, however I will NEVER be back. They do not deserve the recognition and they do not know good customer service. Even 2 stars is generous for me.

  I stayed at the hotel with my wife from 24 to 27 September this year. Probably one of the best places to stay. Very clean staff were amazing and its location perfect in the beautiful town of Gandia.   Our Go To Hotel in Gandia

  This was our third stay at Senator Gandía Hotel, and we just spent another wonderful two nights here. The location is excellent, just two short blocks from the beach. One of the biggest conveniences is the underground self-parking, which costs approximately €22 per day and saves you the headache of finding parking in this busy area.The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, with great beds and pillows. The hotel has a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a bar. However, we particularly enjoy taking the short walk to the beachfront promenade and having breakfast overlooking the beach.The staff was excellent throughout our stay. Between the fantastic location, comfortable accommodations, convenient parking and reasonable prices, this hotel continues to be our favorite in Gandía.Every time we return to Gandía, Senator Gandía Hotel will be our go-to place. We will definitely be back! On the other hand, we regret to inform you that we do not offer an entertainment program at our hotel. Within our chain, entertainment services are provided by the Playa hotels. However, although we do not have a specific animation program, our close location to the beach and the Gandía seafront offers a wide variety of entertainment options and activities for our guests.
