The idea Spanish getaway

This is our third visit to this fantastic hotel where we expect and get a great holiday. Staff are helpful and friendly in particular IMED the duty manager who receives you at the dining hall and the pool bar with a smile / joke making the start of each day happy. Rooms are lovely giving you all you need, there is always a choice of foods in the dining hall or the pool bar where basic food is available should you miss or want to avoid the main dining times. The pool areas are great with sun beds always available and the kids love the mini water park. Only a 20 minute walk to the beach or town centre so when I hear people saying the hotel is too far away from the main areas I disagree. Remembering there is a free shuttle bus available. Overall the holiday was great and can’t wait to be back next year

I'll be completely honest here.This is not a 4 star hotel 3 at best This hotel is not close to the beach The food in the hotel is of poor quality and sometimes undercooked.We moved Room after the second night as there was a bad smell coming in from the corridor.The second room was much better thankfully.The staff throughout the hotel were brilliant and can't be faulted.However the lady In the little supermarket in the basement was a bit off and unpleasant.

A bit more out of town compared to where we usually stay but to get into town is walkable and there is a shuttle bus that can also take you to the town and beach that runs regularly. Also within walking distance of the train station to and from the airport which is direct.Stayed in a junior suite for 3 adults and room was huge as was the bathroom, only letdown was the bathroom as needs updating as it’s looking a bit ‘worn’ but clean and housekeepers came in daily for bed and towel changes. Air con wasn’t overly great but thankfully due to the time of year, it wasn’t a problem.All inclusive was really good, plenty of choice (lots of meat and fish). Hard working staff in the hotel, and helpful. Pools were clean and lots of sun beds dotted around (not only at poolside). Could do with more staff at the bars as sometimes there was only one member serving and there could be a long queue. Could also do with cups on the side of the bar for coffee and tea as had to queue for a paper cup! Overall a great stay and may return again…..Many thanks

Our room was really lovely. Very clean and spacious. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room was cleaned daily and the sheets and towels were changed regularly. We sunbathed in the grassed areas as it was more peaceful and spacious than the pool area. The restaurant was quite nice and the food was generally good. The only problem was sometimes there wasn’t enough staff to replenish the buffet and reset the tables. Queues for coffee at breakfast were long and slow. We were half board and it was lovely to find that drinks were included with our evening meal. All the staff we encountered were pleasant especially Ingrid on reception. Shuttle was very useful and a great asset as the center is quite difficult to get to but you are aware of this before you go. The only downside was as it was a very reasonable price some people were definitely getting their monies worth with the drink and were very vocal. Overall though a great deal and a lovely break.
