  Just returned home last night. The hotel was clean, great location for everything and the staff at reception and pool were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Close to marina and bars and restaurants. Would definitely return to these apartments. They have everything you need with microwave fridge etc and shower was good too. Clean spacious rooms.

  Great location, close to Marina, shops and restaurants. Staff are lovely and always there to help. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, they are cleaned frequently and good value for money. We did have a room on the front which was a bit noisy on the weekends with the bar across the road but wouldn’t stop me going again. The pool is cleaned regularly and the pool area is maintained to a high standard, there is also a pool bar that does drinks and food for a reasonable price.   We will keep returning to Apartamentos MS Puerto Marina

  We have stayed at MS Puerto Marina many times over the years and we will be returning in November after our great stay here in September,the room was spacious for a studio that is used for 2 people,kitchen,microwave,fridge plus table and chairs,all of the staff are very friendly and polite,the pool area is nice with sun beds and a mattress costing 2 euros 8 euros if you go to the beach we like to have a room on the street side so we can people watch which can be noisy in the evening as there is a Irish bar opposite.Promenade 5 minutes to walk to with many shops and restaurants and 20 minutes to walk too Toremolinos promenade along the Marina to the Burger King.We would like to thank everyone of the staff who works at the apartments for making our stay very enjoyable.Hasta pronto.   I don’t really know where to start with this one, arrived early Saturday afternoon, knew it wouldn’t be the ritz as it’s a 3 star but the reception area is lovely, check in was pretty standard and as we were the only people checking in, we were in our room in 10 mins. We were also advised at this point that sunbeds round the pool are charged at 2 euro per bed per day and to pay the lifeguard. The room was very big but noticed how dusty the floor was before we even unpacked and found a brush so gave it a quick sweep. As we had been up since the early hours we were both tired so we jumped on the beds and had an hour. After a sleep we decided to have a shower to freshen up and found we had no hot water! Went down to reception and were told they needed a part and didn’t know when it would be fixed, there were other people in reception and we found out it had been on and off for over a week and people had been boiling the kettle to have a wash, there was a young couple with a baby which seemed pretty upset and were struggling cleaning bottles and couldn’t give the little one a bath. I went back up to the room to tell my husband and that’s when he said have you seen the floor, it was actually lifting in several places, some of the furniture in the room was broken with sharp edges, there were cracked loose tiles in the kitchen area and in the bathroom too and we then started looking behind the closed curtains and discovered they had not been cleaned either, there was thick dust on the frames and mould growing too, we then got straight on the phone to jet2 and asked for a move as this was now a health and safety issue, as it was Saturday evening they couldn’t do anything until Monday morning, they did ring reception about the water issue and were lied to as they told them the water would be back on that evening, it was not, the air con was also broken and there are NO smoke alarms in the rooms ? We told the receptionist about all the issues and they sent someone to fix the air con, it came back on but the smell of sewage coming through the vents meant we had to switch it off straightaway, a cleaner came to and literally just wiped the dust off the frames that I hadn’t already cleaned, this hotel is not a 3 star at all, I would struggle to make it a one star, we were offered a room move on Monday but didn’t see the point as it this point we either wanted to move hotels or go home, we were eventually moved to another hotel on Tuesday and what a stark difference considering they are both the same star rating.
