  ?? 2/5 — Very poor soundproofing and disappointing response to noise complaintsWe stayed here for almost three weeks. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the extremely poor internal soundproofing, which seriously affected our sleep.You can hear everything happening in the corridor, especially the apartment doors slamming. The walls feel extremely thin, almost like cardboard. There was even visible light coming into our apartment from around the door from the corridor, which gives you an idea of how poorly the rooms are isolated.When we complained about the noise, one of the explanations we received was that it was high season. However, high season does not explain the lack of soundproofing between the apartments and the corridor. The doors and walls do not suddenly become better insulated during low season. While there may be fewer guests at other times of the year, the structural soundproofing issue would remain.After dealing with the noise for so long, we contacted them approximately 48 hours in advance and asked to be reimbursed for our final week so we could leave and find somewhere quieter. Unfortunately, they would not refund the remaining week, so we stayed.Housekeeping was another disappointment. During our stay of almost three weeks, our bed sheets were never changed. Housekeeping came in and made the beds, but the same sheets remained. For a stay this long, I would expect fresh bed linens at least periodically.The property did have some positive aspects, but after three weeks, the constant corridor noise, slamming doors, extremely poor soundproofing, interrupted sleep, and lack of fresh bed linens outweighed them for us.If you are a light sleeper or planning a longer stay, I would seriously take the soundproofing into consideration before booking.   The apartments are lovely . I have stayed in both studio and in one bed apartment . Extremely helpful cleaning staff ( Enriqueta ) . Very central . 2 minutes from the bus . I had a brilliant sleep as the blinds and air con so effective . No noise at all .   We had a terrible experience trying to gain access when we arrived. We had to wait for another guest to come out to open the entrance door for us. Then there was a check in machine. No reception. So we started the check in. The reference we were given on our reservation form was NOT the check-in number we needed. We then, with the help of a cleaner, who appeared in the hallway, and rang the owner to get the right reference, proceeded to complete the check-in, took about 20 minutes. Our room keys came out of the machine. When we entered the apartment, we discovered it was tiny and there was no balcony. The windows had bars on them. Very claustrophobic. The apartment didn't even have a toaster. Several times over the next few days, I had to let in and help new guests arriving, to check-in. Very stressful. We were there for 10 nights and the sheets were changed once. We will never go back there!   Nice apartment in great location

  The one bed apartment is great. Plenty of room, spacious shower and good hot water, Ikea furniture, good air con in main room and bedroom, English TV - dolce gusto coffee machine was a bonus. A steep 15 minute walk to Burriana beach and an easy 10 to the centre of the town. Big supermarket 2 mins round the corner. But, you should contact them ahead to get the code for the building and your reference to help with the automated check in. The process was actually ok, though Christian happened to be on hand to assist and he could not have been more helpful.Yes, there is a scooter park outside, but they are commuters and local people, not bike gangs, so not a problem.
