Myself and my friend went to this hotel for 4 nights .location is fantastic ,close to beach and restaurants. Hotel is very nice ,bright and airy. studio room was beautiful and clean ,shower and toilet seat were broken ,we said it at reception but nobody helped, no hairdryer in the room either .We got one bath towel and one hair towel each, we asked for a second towel and they said no. we had a washing machine so when towel was in the wash you had not got a back up one to dry yourself ,no daily cleaners either and only a small mirror in the bathroom which was inconvenient. most hotel rooms have a long mirror ,but not in this hotel .when we were checking out at a time of 10am ,which is way too early in my opinion ,we asked could we chill by the pool and they said no .we had a late flight but they did not care. I would not go back as i felt staff were not that helpful. once you check out they have nothing more to do with you. most hotels are more helpful and look after you before you head to airport. But not the benal beach hotel. but we had an amazing holiday .benalmadena is fabulous place. Worth a visit ,maybe a different hotel though.

OK till this morning but a lot of walking before u get to rooms

Stayed at benal from the 16 sept till today when we had to check out and to our horror we were told we had no access to pool or showers toilets etc etc even we told him that we were not getting collected till 7 o clock tonite for a 10 o clock flight this is simply not acceptable we have been coming to Spain for the past 30 years lovely country and often had late flights but u could use the facilities till u were leaving its not good enough in my opinion and we certainly will not be coming back to this place very dispointed with this treatment would not recommend this place to people planing to come to balamadena for a break all be it balamadena is a beautiful place but our treatment today is not good enough. Turned upvat midday and had to pay 5 euros to leave my suitcase as I was told it would not be ready until 2. Came back to reception with suitcase at 2 and I have been told it maybe ready at 3! They can't even tell me what room I'm in, so how they know if it's ready I'm unsure. Guessing just being awkward for the sake of it. Poor customer service ??

The apartments are disgraceful so run down .Its like a maze the place .I book through booking.com and the room was a absolute disgrace for 4 nights it was 980 euro for a room with 2 beds with no sheets on them just a mattress protect there was stains all over the mattress the shower was filthy ants in the room .The room number was 403 block 2 The check of someone charging that price for that Kip .

Excellent apartment but poor pool.

The apartment we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous, I really was shocked how lovely it was but…. The pool was atrocious, I could tell straight away it looked murky compared to the previous place we’d stayed. There was a thick green scum line around the tiles, the water felt thick and the floor was slimy. Very disappointing as the photos made the pool look amazing. We only used it once. If I was an owner I’d definitely be asking for better maintenance of the pool. It’s a huge building and I’m sure a varied mix of apartments, so choose carefully!
