Very nice hotel with a beautiful rooftop area as well. Perfectly located in San Pedro and very good breakfast in the morning for a small fee.

Staff all fabulous, good size room with plenty of storage, very clean and comfortable. Bathroom a bit on the small side but quite adequate. Breakfast excellent with wide range of choices. Location perfect for central San Pedro, very good value for money.

We spent a great month here!

    rating15 Sept 2024

My husband and I stayed for one whole month, we had a delightful stay, nice atmosphere, welcoming staff. Beautifully spotlessly clean room, extremely comfortable bed, fridge, nice breakfast room. Nice area around, the main shopping street which was a short walk which was great for me as I am not able to walk far, we dined at Nick’s cafe a lot of days, and found another really amazing restaurant half way through the month in the square a street away opposite the hotel. Forgotten it’s name but it was in the corner of the square and very traditional and sold those gorgeous fried sticks for breakfast and the bar was quirky and all the food perfectly cooked. We felt the hotel although a little way from beach was placed in the charming town perfectly for us.

San Pedro’s Secret Home from Home

    rating12 Jun 2024

A great little hotel in the heart of the local community. My room was fresh and clean and the aircon worked quickly to cool the room. There were sachets of soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc and towels were fluffy and plentiful. I was on the 4th floor where there was also a fabulous sun terrace to watch the sun go down over the bustling square across the road. A great spot for people watching.I didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t vouch for the food but I can say that the dining room looked professionally set up and were I not meeting friends, I wouldn’t have hesitated to try the breakfast.Centrally located, it is an ideal spot from which to explore the beaches and glitz of Puerto Banus, or to simply immerse yourself in local culture as the wonderfully friendly Spanish people go about their everyday lives. The staff in the hotel, particularly Eva, were friendly and helpful, and as a woman travelling solo I felt safe. The negatives? None spring to mind - it is everything you would expect from a hotel in its class, but with just a little magic added to make the experience memorable.Would I recommend staying at Dona Catalina? In a heartbeat! I certainly will be!
