  Really nice hotel, room's were very clean and well laid out beds excellent. The food was lovely. The location is 25 yards from the seafront, the staff were excellent in all respects well done.

  the hotel is clean and friendly, with a good selection of food. The highlight of my stay was George, Dani, and Lola; they make the hotel. They are always laughing and smiling, and making sure you don't feel left out, especially when you are solo. it has a great location, being right on the doorstep of public transport.   Entertainment staff help make this a brilliant hotel experience

  Just home from another brilliant 2 week stay here. This hotel has everything, sea view rooms, great friendly staff, from the entertainment staff of Lola, George and Dani, to the bar and cleaning staff. Rooms cleaned every day, powerful shower, beds a bit hard but that’s a preference, right across from the beach via a back gate and buses outside the front door, never disappoints and met some brilliant people, already booked for next year x Gar D, Director General at Globales Gardenia, responded to this review Dear Margaret,Thank you so much for another wonderful review, and even more so for returning to Globales Gardenia for yet another two-week holiday. Being able to access the beach directly through our back gate and having the bus stop just outside the hotel certainly makes it easy to enjoy everything Fuengirola and the surrounding area have to offer.A special thank you for mentioning Lola, George and Dani, as well as our bar and housekeeping teams.   We stayed here for 7 nights from the 8th September. We asked via email to the hotel and Jet 2 for a top floor room 2 weeks before our holiday .But unfortunately our request wasn't granted, we were given a third floor room right beside the main road which was very noisy, we were also disturbed by the loud music coming from the Victoria lounge bar till nearly midnight. The room was a good size with a large bathroom, but the basin had a large crack in it. The room in general was very dated and tired ie the paintwork on the balcony was in a terrible state see photos. We stayed half board and was reasonably happy with the food we had though sometimes the food that should be hot was cold which wasn't pleasant. Most nights the main courses ie meat and fish dishes didnt last long and had be replenished due greedy all inclusive guests eating everything in sight. A few positives about the hotel they have a self service laundry on level-1Also plenty of British TV channels in the room. The garden has a lovely sunbathing area with lots of sunbeds always available. Although the local parakeets were very noisy!Very close to the beach and lots of nice bars and restaurants close by.Unfortunately we definitely wouldn't return to this hotel as its in need of a major renovation. We receive many specific room requests, but these are always subject to availability and therefore cannot unfortunately be guaranteed in advance. We do, however, understand your disappointment regarding the noise from the main road and the nearby lounge bar.We are also sorry to read about the condition of the washbasin and the balcony paintwork. These are not aspects we wish our guests to encounter, and we appreciate you bringing them to our attention. As you mention, some areas and elements of the hotel have a more dated appearance, and we are working on improvements and refurbishment.With regard to the food, we are pleased that you were reasonably satisfied overall. Our buffet dishes are replenished regularly throughout service, according to consumption and demand. We are sorry if on some occasions you found certain dishes not to be at the temperature you expected. We take food temperatures seriously and maintain the controls required by current health and food-safety regulations.We would also like to clarify one point regarding the reference to our All Inclusive guests. All our guests, regardless of their chosen board basis, have the same right to enjoy the buffet during the scheduled service. High demand for particular dishes can occasionally mean that they need to be replenished more frequently, but this is something our restaurant team monitors continuously.Finally, we are pleased that you enjoyed our gardens and the availability of sunbeds. As for the parakeets, they are certainly very much at home in the gardens too! Unfortunately, as wild birds, they are not something we can control.We regret that you have decided not to return, but we genuinely appreciate your constructive comments.   Godd hotel but food was only satisfactory. I had salad and risotto most evenings. The vleaning was good and evening entertainment good especially for pensioners whivh we are.
