  Terrible incompetent staff at check in so rude.Very poor room overlooking a car park with disturbing building works & noise going on at the hotel waking you up every morning.After complaining and explaining this was 2nd vist in 6 x months they still wouldnt do anything.Hidden deposit of 125 Euros demanded on check in otherwise NO stay !5 x nights so 625 taken on card before been allowed to stay, very annoying !Dark & dirty are my thoughts on the hotel with rude staff , could go on for ages as a lot was so wrong.This place wont see me again !!!

  Lovely spotless hotel

  I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel when I read that you can even feel the vibe of the music in the pool. Not what I’d usually book to relax but I was pleasantly surprised. The music was fantastic. I booked a deluxe double pool view room. The bed was super comfy with the best pillows ever. Very effective air con and a great bathroom. Breakfast was everything you could want. We were welcomed most mornings by the wonderful Bea. What a diamond she is. The hotel’s best asset. We used the rooftop pool as it’s a more relaxed area. One word of warning here though is that during our 12 nights, two of those days the pool area was used, once by a convention and the other hired out for a private party. This made us feel very unwelcome in what we looked upon as our chill space. It is only a short walk to the beautiful harbour which is buzzing with restaurants, bars and nightlife. A great Italian restaurant and next door sports bar across the road reasonably priced. Supermarket across road for tasty baguettes for lunch. Great spotless hotel with lovely staff. Thank for a lovely stay.

  Best There Ever Was Best There Ever Will Be! :)

  **Bea, Tyler, and Jorge made our stay feel like we had friends at the hotel**My wife Charlene and I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Marbella for 10 days, and I have to give a huge shoutout to the VIP check-in / guest services team: Bea, Tyler, and Jorge.We had a longer stay with a few moving parts, and I was also in Marbella for a medical procedure, so having things go smoothly really mattered. These three made everything feel easy. More importantly, they made it feel personal.Bea was honestly the best. Every morning before breakfast she would stop and chat with us, ask how I was doing, and check in like she genuinely cared. Not in a fake “hotel script” kind of way — in a real human way. When you are away from home and not feeling 100%, that means a lot.Tyler also went above and beyond. I had one oddly specific request that became way more important to me than it probably should have: I wanted the TV facing the bed. I know, very dramatic. But Tyler listened, found us an even nicer room that worked, and personally confirmed it was set up the way we wanted. That little detail made a big difference in a 10-day stay.Jorge was fantastic too. He set us up with a day bed at the pool, personally escorted us there, and introduced us to the bar staff so we felt taken care of right away. That is the kind of touch that makes you feel like a real VIP, not just someone with a reservation number.The hotel itself is fun, stylish, and has all the Hard Rock energy you would expect. But for us, the people made the stay. Bea, Tyler, and Jorge turned what could have been a stressful trip into one my wife and I will always remember fondly.Thank you, Bea, Tyler, and Jorge. You made us feel welcome, looked after, and honestly a little spoiled. You guys rock. 🤘

  Expensive, but worth every single penny

  My wife and I visited for a week for our 20th Anniversary. The cost of our stay was expensive for us, but we found it to be worth every single penny. The hotel is in a very central location to explore the nearby areas. The walk to the "stylish" part of Puerto Banús is a picturesque 20 minute walk along the beach, and the old town is a short bus or taxi ride away. We had the holiday of a lifetime. From our first interaction at check in, we found the staff to be extremely friendly. Our best friend Guillimero on concierge duties is one of the nicest people we've ever met anywhere. He was so friendly and helpful to us every single time we spoke with him and made our stay simply top tier. It was sad to say goodbye to him. The hotel is like the other Hard Rocks we have visited. The atmosphere is chilled and the familiar smell and collection of rock artefacts is present. We had fun fishing everything hanging on the walls. The pool area is exceptionally pleasant. It's on two levels and always playing music throughout the day. We were in a deluxe room facing the pool and could always hear the music from our balcony. It created a great atmosphere for us. If you want a quieter room, make sure to get one not facing the pool. The room was nice and airy and quite spacious. Lovely, comfy bed and a nice bathroom with a power shower. I had read about minibar problems, and checked with staff on check in. It was no problem for us putting our own drinks in the minibar throughout our stay. The shop literally across the road from the hotel is great value and if you don't fancy paying for drinks at the hotel, it's really useful. We bought some cocktails, but really couldn't afford to buy drinks at the hotel all day when we were there, so it was great to stock up for the evenings in the room. We found our room and the entire hotel to be spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff do a first class job. All the areas were very well kept. The food was first class. The hotel offers half board. Breakfast was a real treat. You can get fresh omlettes made to order, breads and cakes, or get cooked items. Also plenty of fruits and yoghurt. All very fresh and lovely. Dinner was a little... strange. It was just so quiet. Maybe just the time of year, but most nights it was the two of us and about ten other people. We didn't mind, we became friends with our Moroccan chum behind the grill and had kebabs, pork, beef and other really tasty items cooked to order every night and then helped ourselves to the buffet. A small but nice selection of desserts were always on offer.The hotel really is a slice of paradise. We got live music in the evening a couple of nights. Would have liked to have seen more, but again, I think this was just the time of the year. It got busy just as we were leaving. It seems to be popular with golfers. Irrespective of how busy the hotel is, we were hugely impressed with the kind staff, lovely facilities and chill vibe. We look forward to going back some day when we have had a chance to save up again.
