    We booked this hotel for Christmas but we thought something was off as it seemed the outside was closed. We booked through a travel agent online. I queried it with them and they just suggested to book another hotel. They never said why but we saw on Facebook a few weeks after that the hotel was closed from 10th December.. Good thing we had instincts but even the travel agent never told us it was closed should not have allowed to have been booked at all. Other people might not be as cautious as we were.

    I visited the resort with my husband and 2 children (7 & 13) and we stayed at the Polynesia hotel… we have absolutely fallen in love and cannot wait to return, we are just about to leave the hotel to go home and are already looking at flights to come back next summer. the staff, the rooms, the food & facilities are all spectacular; the rooms are clean and they work really hard to ensure high standards of comfort and cleanliness, my youngest also loved the ‘care’ they gave to his bear Ellie. there is a really good selection of foods for all meals and the variety was good, i am a fussy eater and managed to find more than enough things for me to eat, as did my children. as standard there was always chips/pastas/burgers for super fussy eaters too. the beach club is excellent too and my children were entertained for hours. entertainment for both night and day are not in short supply and is good fun. my youngest wanted to visit the kids club and the staff there were so lovely too; he didn’t want to do all the activities and they were more than understanding and the fact that you can sign in and out of the club as many times as you want is fab. my heart is sad that we have to leave, but i am excited to return and make more beautiful memories! it is not just a hotel or a resort, it is a complete experience and i cannot fault it at all…thank you Holiday World Resort x x

    We're do i start,as we booked in we was shown a piece of laminate paper with entertainment on, rooms are dated and tired. cockerroaches in room and the food is awful. The pool has broken tiles on the floor so wear pool shoes and the snack bar food is warm. so disappointed as it was my grandsons holiday which wasn't cheap glad I've only booked 5 days

    AMAZING WEEK AWAY . Please don’t listen to people on here moaning about petty things We have just come back from a weeks stay With my wife and two boys ( ages 3 & 6 years old ) From start to finish we couldn’t of asked for more The entertainment by the pools was great and it was constant throughout the day. The pools on the hotel side were perfect for both of my boys age group. The beach club across the bridge was fantastic for us to enjoy our day together too. The food I found was varied with some great meals prepared and they always. Kept on top of food items that were running low. The rooms were spacious The staff were all friendly and welcoming If you’re unsure go on the Facebook page/ group and you will see all the great comments about people’s stays. I would most definitely go back 100%

    Awful holiday, dropped at the wrong hotel and the welcome when we arrived at the hotel was awful, receptionist rude and pointed us to a laminated bit of paper and said to take a photo as all info was on there, nothing was open, no clubs, no activities, no water park, no specialty restaurants, bar staff were rude, food is the same for every meal, always cold and nothing tasty! A very run down arcade where you have to pay to use broken pool tables and broken pool ques, We went all inclusive but definitely didn’t get all inclusive, the amount of extras you have to pay for is a joke! Why do I need to pay for a room key when I’ve just paid £4k for the holiday, arcade should be free when that’s all that is on offer.I feel that we were completely mis sold the holiday and would never return.Only positive was the housekeeping staff super friendly and helpful, the rest of the staff need a course in customer service.
