Links to the public transport network are to be found just across the road from the hotel. Benalmádena Costa and the Puerto Marina are all located within around 10 min drive of the resort. Málaga is 30 min drive away and it is 10 km to Málaga airport.

Excellent hotel for children under 5, food is really nice and rooms are very spacious with huge balconies, rooms slightly dated but no major problem also hotel is very remote but bus stop at bottom of road to belmadena and fungerola and you can use the hotels next door on night to watch shows etc also the animation team are really good funny and helpful Cristina Rosa, Marketing at Holiday World Riwo, Affiliated by Melia, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! We chose Riwo as our holiday to switch off and relax from busy work life at home, with our son, and we were able to do just that. I wouldn’t rate the hotel as a 4 star hotel, id rate it as a 3 star. Being able to use the sister hotel was brilliant. The beach club was also good, my son who is 9, really enjoyed it here and we went twice within our 4 day stay. I have ceoliac so was a little worried about what I would be able to eat - the catering staff were amazing, every meal I either had something freshly made for me, such as pizza, pasta, gluten free chicken nuggets, and I was also shown what I could have from the buffet. There was even dessert, which ranged from gluten free muffins, chocolate cake and white chocolate cake. Joanne in particular was brilliant in serving us, she made sure I had everything I needed & also took the time to come and speak to my son and make sure he was enjoying his holiday. Very friendly and kind reception from Johana and all staff. Restaurant is well catered for adults but kids options could be improved on. There is a variety of entertainment on every night including a kids disco which they invite all to take part in. If you want to walk anywhere other than the splash park at the entrance I wouldn’t advise as anything of interest is a good taxi ride away. Rooms are good value for money but could do with a bit of upkeep maintenance wise, we found there were a few damages around our room to doors and walls etc, might I add rooms are also well noise dampened, our room was next to the park and outside seating for the bar and when we had to have an early night we could barely hear anything. Overall a good hotel for families.
