This guest house is located in the centre of Nerja in the main street, Calle Pintada and a 5-minute walk from the famous Balcón de Europa and the beaches of Salón a Calahonda.

The hostel has 13 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Individually adjustable heating ensures that rooms maintain just the right temperature. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms.

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hostel offers outdoor sports, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, fishing and horse riding. With snorkelling or, for a fee, water skiing, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The surroundings of the hostel offer an ideal environment for skiing. Sport and leisure facilities at the hostel include a gym and aerobics. A spa and solarium are available in the wellness area.

    Beautiful room with fresh towels and bed changed every day, much needed for a beach holiday. Lovely garden to sit and enjoy some drinks. Perfect location very central, lots of shops on the way down and just a five minute walk from the Balcón de europa. Montse was extremely helpful, she helped us with parking multiple times, very informative and kind throughout the stay. A lovely lady. Thank you for everything we will return ??

    We stayed for one night at Abril Hostal - I think there are both apartments and a hotel. Our accommodation was in the apartment block and was a garden suite.Our hosts were very helpful and friendly, bringing our bags from the car to our room. We wanted to have breakfast on the communal outdoor terrace but there was no facilities in our room for this however when we asked at reception a kettle, cups, spoons, bowls and glasses, along with some coffee, teabags and sugar were delivered to our room - fantastic service. The accommodation was spotless, in both the common areas and our room, which had a double bed and a large sofa bed for our son. The large bathroom was very clean and lots of lovely shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand lotion was provided. Plenty of fluffy white towels were available. Air conditioning was good and essential in the hot weather we experienced during our stay. There is no lift in the building which may be of concern to those with mobility issues but it wasn't any problem for us.The outdoor terrace has plenty of seating with 2 sun loungers, sun bed area and comfy couches. Its a big bonus for a city centre apartment to be able to relax with a glass of wine or to enjoy breakfast. I understand some of the rooms have their own private balcony or terrace. Abril is located c10 mins walk to the Balcon, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and a large, Mercadona supermarket 4 mins walk away. Perfect central, but quiet location.I have no hesitation recommending this apartment and would come back again if we return to Nerja.     Stayed here with my sister for 8 days, the room was very clean and comfortable with a fridge and kettle (we were offered other rooms but chose not to upgrade). Staff were very friendly and the garden was sunny with lots of furniture to sit in the sun!
