  I booked for a further three nights but suddenly had to go back to Uk The receptionist very kindly refunded me the cash for my own mistake , to which he really did not have to, So I would like to thank the reception man Chambermaids are so lovely work extremely hard place is spotless . I would like say a big thankyou to reception man for refund when he didn't have to. Highly recommend for location, cleanliness and the staff excellent

  Great little hostal that I found quiet. Spotlessly clean rooms. Great staff. Separate bathrooms that thankfully, too were spotless. Decent beds and slept well here. Let down a little by tired bedroom furniture. Altogether a great stay in a convenient location. TV (Spanish only) and air conditioning with an overhead fan.

  On Thursday, March 21, I came to spend one night at this hostel. At 12:30 a.m. I heard shouting from the receptionist. I was in the bathroom on the first floor. The shouting was such that I went to my room to put on my shoes. When I arrived, I found my partner crying. When I asked him what had happened, He tells me that the receptionist for no reason started yelling at him when he tried to open the door of the hostel, saying that he has to ring a bell (without having previously warned that the door is closed at night). There is no information sign about this throughout the hostel, nor do they inform you when checking in. On the door (photo attached) there is no indication or the use of said bell or signage. When requesting the complaints book, he first addresses me on a first-name basis without having indicated that he could do so nor I on a first-name basis with him, then, with a cocky attitude, he throws said book at me at the reception, he does not provide me with the information that I request (in order to correctly fill out the book ). Finally, without any intention of apologizing, he is not able to respond when I go to my room with a simple Good night, nor does he look and go to watch TV (by the way at high volume, disturbing the tenants). The hostel is good (the best thing is the location). Since the moment we entered the hostel, the (community) bathroom has not been cleaned. My recommendation to the hostel is to look for staff more suited to the work of reception. All this happens (screams at 00:30 a.m.) Disturbing the tenants.El jueves 21 marzo vine a pasar una noche este hostal.A las 0,30 horas escucho gritos por parte del recepcionista, me encontraba en el cuarto de baño de la primera planta, fue tal el griterío que fui a mi habitación a calzarme al llegar encuentro a mi pareja llorando, al preguntarle que había ocurrido, me dice que el recepcionista sin motivo alguno se puso a gritarle al intentar abrir la puerta del hostal, diciendo que tiene que llamar a un timbre ( sin previamente haber avisado que la puerta se cierra por las noches ).No existe ningún cartel informativo de ello en todo el hostal, ni te lo informan al hacer el cheking. En la puerta (adjunto foto) no hay ninguna indicación ni el uso de dicho timbre ni señalización.Al solicitar el libro de reclamaciones, primeramente me tutea sin haberle indicado que podía hacerlo ni yo tutearle a él, seguidamente y de actitud chulesca me tira dicho libro sobre la recepción, no me facilita la información que le solicito (para poder rellenar correctamente el libro).Finalmente sin ninguna intención de disculparse, no es capaz de responder al dirigirme hacia mi habitación a un simple Buenas noches, ni mira y se va a ver la TV ( por cierto a gran volumen molestando a los inquilinos )El hostal está bien ( lo mejor es la localización ).Desde en el momento que entramos en el hostal no han limpiado el cuarto de baño ( comunitario ). Mi recomendación al hostal es buscar un personal mas adecuado a la labor de recepción.Todo esto ocurre (gritos a las 00,30h)Molestando al los inquilinos.

  We stayed in this beautiful hostal for 6 nights. It’s was very affordable and central. The accommodation was spotless and the staff were so accommodating and pleasant. We really loved it. There is no air conditioning but we didn’t mind as there was a ceiling fan. Totally recommend it if you want somewhere cheap and cheerful 😃

  The hostel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are big. The location is fantastic. Located near the center and only 7 min walk to the beach. The reason why it only gets 3 stars is partly because of the weird smell in the room. It smelled like cigarettes and there was mold in the bathrooms. Not the best hygiene. The rooms are quite noisy as well. I didn’t really sleep because you could hear if someone came home, or just removed the charger from the power outlet. But if you’re staying just for a night or two, I would recommend it. But I wouldn’t stay here for more than that.
