  Great location opposite the harbour and sea front. Plenty of bars around.Staff friendly and helpful on reception.Stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the street side appt 113. Had a side view. No noise heard as doors and windows are double doored/ windows. Kettle. Toaster and 2 ring hob available.Pool was nice. Plenty of sunbeds.Whole place was kept clean.Would definitely stay again.

  My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend it.I booked a one-bedroom apartment with a City View, but when we arrived for check-in, we were given an apartment with a different view. When I pointed out that this was not what I had booked, the staff offered me a much smaller room if I wanted a city view, even though I had paid for a one-bedroom apartment.The biggest issue, however, was the way we were treated. The reception staff were rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. When I requested either the accommodation I had booked or a refund, they simply told me to contact Booking.com and leave the hotel.I was traveling with my elderly mother, who specifically wanted a city-view apartment. Despite her age and our reasonable request, the staff showed no understanding or willingness to help us find a fair solution.The situation escalated to the point where the police were called to remove us, even though we were only asking to receive the accommodation we had paid for or to have our money refunded.To make matters worse, I still have not received a refund. This experience was stressful, upsetting, and completely unacceptable. I hope the hotel management takes customer service more seriously and ensures that future guests receive the room type they actually book. One you did not even took a look at it. At no point was your reservation for a specific apartment or one looking over the street side. The request to be on the street side was a request and unfortunately not available upon arrival.Upon check-in, you became visibly upset and raised your voice at our receptionist, insisting that you would only accept the apartment you had requested. Throughout the interaction, our receptionist remained professional and attempted to explain the reservation details and the accommodation that had been confirmed.As the situation escalated, the Duty Manager intervened in an effort to resolve the matter calmly. She politely asked you to lower your voice and speak respectfully to our staff. She also asked you not to eat your ice cream on the reception counter, as it was staining the surface. Your response was, "I'll eat wherever I want," delivered in a disrespectful and confrontational manner.Despite the circumstances, the Duty Manager made every reasonable effort to find an alternative solution and offered you the following options:• A One-Bedroom Apartment of the same category, located on the street side rather than overlooking the pool to move in a few days.• A recently refurbished studio apartment, together with a refund of the price difference.Both alternatives were declined without consideration, and the confrontation continued.Our hotel is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for both guests and employees. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour directed at our staff. When repeated attempts to de-escalate a situation are unsuccessful, our procedures require us to end the contractual relationship by cancelling the reservation.Accordingly, we offered to cancel your reservation and provide a full refund of the amount paid. This solution was offered in good faith and in an effort to resolve the matter amicably.The incident has been formally reported to Booking.com, and the relevant authorities have also been informed. Your reservation has been cancelled, and the full refund has already been processed. As agreed at reception, Booking.com will return the full amount paid through your original method of payment.

  More hostel than hotel.

  The hotel has seen better days, It is a bit tatty and generally unloved. The location is great with the bus and train station a short walk away, it is a very short walk to the beach and various eateries. I didn't like the pool area, it looks nothing like the photos on the website, I viewed It from the hotel room only It didn't look inviting at all. There is a small nightclub below the rooms which is open until 4am, it appears to be poorly managed as the doors remain open whilst the club is open, noisy drunk patrons are allowed to congregate on the street below the hotel, if you have a room on a lower floor it will keep you awake until it closes. Thankfully I was only staying at this hotel a few days. I had fairly low expectations for the hotel prior to my visit and for the most part it wasn't too far off the mark. I wouldn't stay at this particular hotel again.   Excellent stay at Beach Holiday Pyr ApartmentWe had a wonderful stay at Beach Holiday Pyr Apartment. The accommodation is very comfortable and fully suitable for three people, with everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay.The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the apartment was very clean upon arrival. We especially enjoyed the nice view, as well as the quiet, safe and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for resting.We would like to highlight Paula, who was excellent with communication — always friendly, helpful and responsive, which made our stay even better.The location is another great advantage, with bus and train stations nearby, and plenty of restaurants and places to eat within walking distance.Overall, a great experience. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this apartment.
