Location

This attractive hotel offers stunning views over sandy La Caletilla Beach. From the hotel, guests may take in the beautiful, panoramic views out over the sea. Facility

20 suites, 5 single rooms and 85 double rooms are located on 10 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library.     Went for seafood paella but so disappointed. Paella was dry and lacked decent quantities of fish, especially shellfish and prawns.Service is excellent, but don't go here for paella.

    I went solo travelling to Nerja, and it was the best experience I have ever had! I visited the Balcon De Europa because of how iconic it is, and it did not disappoint! The hotel I went to was also lovely, and the people there were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend!

    We visited this hotel on recommendation from a friend. The situation of the hotel was beautiful and I understand why people love Nerja.There are some good things about this hotel, one was the breakfast -something for everyone., two- obviously the location, three- overall very secure and a nice feeling about it. We did not pay for an upgrade and the room we had was adequate.The negatives for me were.1. I don’t feel their hotel went the extra Mile to make my stay more enjoyable. . I am unable to lay on a Sunlounger ( due to back problems) and normally I’ll sit on a chair (I’ll take my own cushion for this purpose).I was amazed to find that in the hotel of this standard there were only two chairs on the top solarium. This was fine but we were on floor five and on floor five was a sun bathing lounge area and the infinity pool. I requested if it was possible to bring a chair down from the solarium to floor five.A nice lady on the Reception asked a man on the Reception who asked another man in the office if this was possible and he came out and told me No! due to health and safety! I couldn’t see the problem but obviously that didn’t help me. I was very disappointed, I didn’t think this was a big deal but obviously it was to them2. We were asked to move from the front of the hotel where people come and have drinks and food , into the Reception area because we did not want to buy a drink at that time. It was after breakfast and we were full and I didn’t require any further drinks or anything at that moment and sat reading.I double checked with Reception staff and they said is that correct that we can’t sit out the front even though we are residents unless we buy-a drink and he said yes that is correct but you can sit inside!For these two reasons, I will not come here again and I would not recommend this hotel.I do not normally give negative reviews because in general four or five star hotels are pretty good and sometimes not perfect but nothing to moan about.However , this treatment did not enhance our holiday experience and I feel that if anyone else has the same problems , You are forewarned It is a shame because those two things would’ve made all the difference.

    Authentic Charming Hotel

    This is an older hotel that's charm is just that and the staff are all very genuine, like they take pride working for the hotel. I read some comments that the hotel is dated - that's for me is its charm. It has the best location in Nerja and for us, we were there for a 5 night break so the small pool and lack of pool bar wasn't an issue for us, but, if the pool is where you want to spend your days, maybe not for you. Breakfast was very good, there are too many good retsuarants to stay half board. The bar at night was nice for a last drink / excellent coffee but pricey compared to 50m away. All in all a great hotel for a few days exploring Nerja.

    This is a top class hotel, feels like 5 star. Very professional, spotless clean, tasty food, comfy beds and perfect location. This is definitely the place to stay if it's your first time visiting Nerja. Ir you fancy upgrading to a sea view I recommend the side sea view rooms as you can do some people watching aswell.Loved it ❤️
