5 single rooms and 130 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     What a great find this little hotel was.Checked in very quickly by Aziz, a lovely gentleman always smiling.Room overlooking the pool and large terrace area, spacious with plenty of storage. Very comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Safe in wardrobe 3 euro per day. Fridge in desk cupboard. No problem with the air con and the temp was 30C. Chambermaids keep everything tidy and clean. Large restaurant area, plentiful choice of dishes to suit all tastes. Fernando keeps everything running smoothly here.Grounds kept immaculate, pool area cleaned every morning,lifeguard on duty all day, pool towels available. Plenty of sunbeds. Pool has a hoist to enable disabled guests to use the pool. Snack bar in corner of pool area. Tennis court at lower garden level.Bar staff very friendly, lovely terrace at the front of the hotel with mountain views, nice spot for a pre dinner drink.Parking on street outside, on large piece of waste ground or for 10 euro per day there is a secure car park across the road.Bus stop close by, taxiis easily sourced. Will be recommending Ilunion to family, friends and definitely returning for more of the same.

    Lovely hotel in beautiful setting

    We had read some reviews and we were a bit concerned about the location of the hotel before arriving. This hotel is lovely., beautiful setting. You can't walk to Mijas Pueblo, however a 5 min taxi ride will take you which is about €6 or €7 and fab scenery, alternatively there is a bus every 30 mins with bus stop about 100 yards away, costs €1.60 to Mijas. The reception staff are lovely, a very friendly English gentleman helped us get taxi. There are lots of families and couples, not all old people like reviews! The food and drink in hotel are good. We didn't include breakfast but for €13 we had an excellent selection. Would definitely come back here x

    Price quality is good , as marked as a 4* hotel, rooms could be freshes up. Location is good and central if you want to visit all costs del sol locations. Pool is nice, breakfast is versatile but can be more changed as staying 2 weeks it get bored fast, front desk reception staff are very polite, very understandable and always open to help or find solution for issues.

    The 3 of us mutually agreed that this was our favorite hotel in our 7 day stay in Andalusia region - not because it was the nicest hotel, it's because it has the most character and you felt like you are in Spain as opposed to just having a "night at another random hotel" :) The region is definitely on the hill, arrival on the main road is super easy, very scenic area adding even more charm to the hotel. The swimming pool/restaurant/garden/loungers at the front of hotel is a pure perfection - especially after they close down the pool for the night and the perfect silence kicks in, soooooooooo relaxingThere is a "dirt" parking lot next door free, or there is a paid designated parking lot aright above it - we took the latter one, pictures attachedWe had some wine/beer and food in the evening at the a la carte restaurant/bar but didn't do the dinner buffet. The buffer in the morning was plentiful but compared to other places nothing to rave about.Room was fairly basic but it worked for 1 night - the whole placed didn't feel necessarily dated but it definitely wasn't modern - but I think that was its charm, that it had this old hacienda character, not sure if it was something else back in the days converted into a hotel but it definitely did feel as such, in a good way!While in Malaga, on a road trip, a perfect stay

    Breakfast and staff disappointing.

    Popped in for breakfast with friends. Cold breakfast, rude staff and very unhelpful. Such a shame as from the outside it looks lovely, but sadly unhappy, unfriendly staff and cold food overpriced. We won’t be returning. :(
