This appealing hotel is located in the tourist area of Nerja, just a promenade away from the large sandy Playa de la Torrecilla beach, and only minutes from the town centre. The Sierra Almijara mountain range is also within walking distance. Pubs, restaurants and shops are all close to the hotel and the centre of Nerja is 800 metres away. The nearest bus stop is about a 30 metres from the hotel; the airport 65 km.

The hotel has 257 rooms, including single rooms and 256 double rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by 5 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

    A beautiful hotel . Very friendly staff . Rooms are very quiet . No night time noise or loud music. Excellent location. We have stayed here several times and keep returning.

    We just love the Rui Monica. This is our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel. The hotel is in a lovely position of NerjaWhen you arrive the booking in is just perfect, lovely glass of cava, the staff are really polite You cannot fault a thing, it's spotless, the room is so lovely, we requested room 533, which we got.The food is amazing, we went to alacarte which was really good.The entertainment is good, maybe a couple of acts is not to everyone's taste but overall we really enjoyed itLooking forward to coming back to this lovely hotel

    Another fantastic stay at this lovely hotel! Everything is so laid back and easy here, comfortable beds, plenty of wardrobe space, great showers. All staff are hardworking and friendly and do their best to ensure things run smoothly portly. The sun bed situation is a bit of a pain but, to be honest, we always got sun beds in the area we wanted without hassle.Fabulous bar area with efficient staff providing speedy drinks when ordered.This hotel, to us, is wonderful - perhaps more suited to the over 50’s, and truly value for money! I give it 10 stars out of 10.

    A very pleasant and enjoyable stay. The hotel is spotless, staff are excellent throughout the hotel. Average age is over 50+. We will definitely return.One improvement worth considering, there is no bar service other than the pool area. It would be nice to be able to have a drink in the seating area within the hotel or on the terrace.
