Location

This hotel is located on a main street on the edge of Fuengirola, opposite the fortress. It is 1 km to the stunning sandy beach and the resort's centre. There is a bus stop just a stone's throw away from the hotel.

Facility

35 suites, 224 apartments, 189 single rooms and 35 double rooms are available to guests in a 6-storey main building and a 6-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     A strong smell of raw sewage periodically happens throughout the day. The hallway of 3rd building 3rd floor was especially strong at night of the smell!Had to receive a room change from building 1 after 2 days in due to excessive building work being carried out which was not notified of.After the move the noise calmed down for a couple of days. Then it got bad again.So if you want a nice relaxing break with construction tools blasting from 8am this is the hotel for you! Also after the move 2 days in i requested fresh towels and bins to be emptied (after 4 days of the room change) to be told my cleaning day was tomorrow... that would be 5 days not 3 as advised.They sent cleaners who took away rubbish, gave fresh towels and fresh bedding. Then again the cleaner appeared on day 9. The DO NOT SWEEP OR MOP! the lamps are covered in dust! I have never been so glad to be home from a holiday as i am from this place! My asthma has acted up due to the dust and i have came home severely unwell. Not surprised!I also have video evidence of the noise! These issues have now been brought up with my travel company!

    Check in was good.Bar service was goodRooms were clean, had everything in that was needed for our trip. The activity courts had lots going on during our trip.     Where to start. Arrived at 22.30 on a Saturday and no food available on the premises. All closed. Vending machines had overpriced water and snacks. Room was ok clean but beds were uncomfortable and mattresses like boards. Entertainment at night was non existent. Entertainment that was advertised was cancelled. Guests were told ask reception and then told ask the entertainment representative. Really bad communication and organisation. Outdoor pool closed at 6pm. I ate one morning at the buffet was ok but I never went again. I don’t know about evening meals as I ate out each night on the beach front or in the shopping centre.Location is good short walk along to the beach and Miramar shopping centre is next. Cleaners come nearly every day and do a great job keeping the place spotless. Would be a great idea if the hotel would give you the option prior to arrival to have basic necessities stocked in the fridge milk water bread etc so if you on a late flight or if everything is closed you could have something when you arrive.     Very strange hotel with weird vibe.Upon checking in Daniel was so rude and obnoxious and gave no information on the hotel or leisure facilities. My wife on a separate occasion asked him a question and his response was to put his hand up to her to shush her whilst he was finished typing. The food was sub standard in the bar. The pool was too shallow to swim in.The French man at reception was amazing and such a lovely guy, I think Daniel should take a leaf from his book!     A great month long stay

    We spend the month of February in this hotel which has an indoor pool ideal for my physiotherapy. We were above the restaurant and reception, we could hear the paddle board courts but it was not too bad. The hotel is managed very well with helpful and professional staff that could not do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Our room was cleaned 3 times a week and the location was ideal to stroll to nearby shopping centre Carrefour and further on was the coast line with a great many places to eat out.This is our second visit to this hotel and would definitely recommend Liza Adamowska, Otros at ILUNION Miramar, responded to this review Dear Pstephaniej.Thank you very much for your feedback.
