    Wonderful hotel

    rating18 Sept 2026

I stayed here with my daughter for three nights . A lovely hotel with very attentive and helpful staff . About 5 minute walk from the beach but also only 2 minutes to the lovely Marbella old town . The room are a good size and clean and tidy . Breakfast was very nice and there is also a great rooftop bar with a small pool area and sun lingers . When we visit Marbella again I will most definitely be staying at the Obal hotel gabriele , Dueño at Obal Hotel, responded to this review Thank you very much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you and your daughter enjoyed your three-night stay with us. Great location!

    rating09 Aug 2026

Just checked out of the Obal where we stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and modern and the aircon is incredible. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious but the balcony is pointless as the view is of a neighbouring building. The hotel breakfast is fresh and plenty of variety. The hotel location is amazing; so close to the beach and right in the middle of old town. The only downside to the hotel is the pool area. There are very few sun loungers and the pool is very small. We only managed to get a lounger on one of our days and our hope of relaxing and sunbathing was disturbed by children jumping in and out of the pool. Due to how small the pool area is, every jump resulted in us getting splashed. lol.Overall a lovely stay in a perfectly located hotel. gabriele , Dueño at Obal Hotel, responded to this review Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our clean and modern hotel, spacious rooms, excellent air conditioning, fresh breakfast, and especially the friendliness and helpfulness of our team. We’re also pleased that you appreciated our fantastic location, so close to the beach and right in the heart of Marbella’s Old Town. We’re sorry, however, that the rooftop pool area did not fully meet your expectations. We understand that the limited number of sun loungers can make it difficult to find a spot during busy periods. Our rooftop pool is designed as a more intimate space for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere and views, although we fully appreciate your comments regarding the size of the pool and the availability of loungers.Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the balcony and the neighbouring building. We understand that the view can vary depending on the room, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.Despite these points, we’re very pleased to know that you had an overall lovely stay and appreciated our privileged location. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Obal Hotel on your next visit to Marbella.Kind regards,Gabriele MetelliRoom Division Manager
