  Okay- not very well thought out from the company

  We arrived on our first day ready to check in at reception and found no one there! The doors were shut with metal doors over them. We waited a good hour sat outside on the steps with all our luggage trying to call different people and even trying the emergency numbers on the door and still no luck when eventually someone turned up and said they were out cleaning the rooms?! Should there not be someone else doing this and someone on reception 24/7?! This was our first day and we only went for 3 days so we’re annoyed at the wasted time. We got to the room and it was lovely apart from the bath/shower which was covered in hair and dirt presumably from the last people that stayed there. We were also told that if we checked out before 10am to just leave our keys on the table in the room as the doors self locked when you shut them. We did this until we realised that we needed one of these keys to actually get on to the main road out a gate!! So at 5am we were having to climb over the gate with our luggage to get out as we had left our key and the room had locked! Reception doesn’t open till 10am.   I have stayed at this place before in a lovely apartment. Upon arrival my son and I were put in what I can only describe as an old and tired apartment this time. It wasn’t clean with dirt and dust under the beds food droppings down the side of the fridge, so low and behold there were cockroaches! The furniture was dirty and stained and they still expected people to sit on it. No coat hangers, kitchen ill equipped no toaster just bare minimum. We told reception who sent in a cleaner again, all surface cleaning as dust and dirt was still there. Not a place i will stay at again.   Excellent helpful person on reception to welcome us. Pleased with apartment though en- suite shower cubicle needed a deep clean. Very well maintained pleasant gardens and pool area. Restaurant choices close by were adequate for a week stay.   Beautiful place to explore the Costa Del Sol

  This collection of apartments is situated on the A7 between Puerto Banus and Estapona. I was sceptical after reading other reviews and we are so glad we ignored and booked this property. We chose a 2 bed apartment and it was lovely. Plenty of space, modern, bright with all of the amenities you could need. Situated on a small development the apartments created a ‘village’ feel and was only a short walk to the beautiful pool and we never failed to find a sun bed. The grounds are well manicured and looked after. Other reviews mentioned dirty properties - not at all. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and the maid came half way through our stay to change the bed/fresh towels etc. Now, the apartments are situated right on the A7 so the downside is there is some traffic noise when you are on your balcony, the upside being they are ideally situated to explore the local area. One tip - you really do need a car (which we had) it is about 15 mins drive into Estapona and 12 or so minutes to Puerto Banus. There are a cluster of bars/restaurants which are walking distance (on the doorstep) but the car will allow you much more freedom. Overall a fab stay in a great part of Costa Del Sol.   Grubby, dirty, filthy, stained

  Everything about these apartments ranges from dirty to filthy. I stayed in two different apartments over 3 weeks. Neither had a single chair or sofa that was not stained/soiled all over. The floors were dirty on arrival and crunched up crisps from previous guest littered the sofa. A sticky unknown substance on the floor. On arrival rooms filled with mosquitos. Housekeeping at least turned up in apartment 1 but cleaning was minor, quick toilet clean and sheet change. I have been in 2nd apartment for 14 days so far and bed was changed on day 3 and nothing since. Using bed change loosely, actually just stripped bed put on bottom sheet inside out on both beds and left the rest of the sheets lying on the dirty floor at the bottom of each bed. On day 10 towels were changed, towels removed from bathroom and new towels dumped on table. The new towels were dirty on arrival, make up staining I hope. No buckets/bins have been emptied by housekeeping. Neither apartment got sun on the balcony that would be suitable for sun bathing. Would not recommend. For the price point it should at least be clean.
