  Booked this hotel for a cost effective 2 night stay and must admit we were super impressed. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious and immaculately clean.   Very disappointing stay– wouldn’t return-far to overpriced

  I decided to write a review to help others not waste money on staying here. Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing.The air conditioning was extremely noisy and creaky, making it difficult to sleep.The room door had a huge gap around it, which didn’t feel particularly secure and also allowed noise in from outside.The shower had very little water pressure, while the sink was blocked and filled up very quickly, which was frustrating.The room safe didn’t work at all, meaning we couldn’t safely store our valuables.The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, the blankets had brown stains/ burn marks and the lights seemed to decide for themselves when they wanted to work, which was another annoyance.The location was also a major issue. The hotel is situated on a very busy and noisy main road, and unfortunately our balcony faced directly onto the road, so there was constant traffic noise. This really wasn’t the relaxing experience we were hoping for. The hotel is also far away from the sea and there is no bridge close by to cross the main road to walk to the beach and the cost for a taxi to the beach was over €35 (one way) as the only way of getting over the main road is to drive around to get to a bridge to cross.The swimming pool area was far too small for the number of guests, with nowhere near enough sunbeds. The pool itself was also very small, so it became crowded easily, mostly kids. We decided not to use the pool.The service at the bar was disappointing too. On one occasion, I asked for some ice and was given it once, (2 blocks) but was then told I couldn’t ask for any more. I was told I could buy my own ice, but there was nowhere in the room to store it, which made the whole situation rather pointless.There were also loads of mosquitoes around the hotel in the evenings, which made sitting outside particularly unpleasant.Overall, there were simply too many problems for us to consider this a good hotel experience. Some of these issues may seem minor individually, but when you add them all together, they had a significant impact on our stay. Its is way to over-priced for what you get. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel. We understand bed comfort is personal, and while we’re near El Saladillo Beach, access requires a short drive.   Very disappointing!

  I would definitely not recommend this place. Our rooms did not have a view of the pool nor the garden, it was a fence! The rooms were full of flies and mosquitos. Lots of trip hazards all over the site including eneven cracked floor tiles. The Handrail on the steps was loose and wobbled likewise the one at the pool steps. The sunbeds were neglected and some were broken. Our rooms were away from the main building and the WiFi dropped off by the time we got there. Far from being '10 minute stroll to the beach' there is a busy road to cross first and the nearest bridge over it was at least 10 minutes walk away. It was more like a 30 walk! Finally the dining room was like a school canteen and food abysmal sometimes being either cold or overcooked. We did find that the staff were all friendly and helpful but a lot of them struggled with English. Most of the guests were Spanish all of whom were prioritised over English guests. For site safety, our hotel was last renovated in 2018, and we always aim to keep public areas well maintained, including ensuring tiles and rails are safe and secure. Sunbeds and pool facilities are looked after as part of regular upkeep. Our free WiFi is available throughout the hotel, but we recognise that connectivity may vary depending on room location, especially those further from the main building. The hotel is located near El Saladillo Beach with public transport nearby, but access might feel longer due to road crossings.Our buffet restaurant offers international cuisine, with meals served in a dining area designed for practicality, though we regret your dining experience did not match your expectations.Our multilingual team speaks Spanish, English, French, and Russian, and we always strive to treat every guest with the same hospitality, regardless of nationality.We do hope that you will return so that we can provide you with a more enjoyable stay in the future.Take care,Ona Diana Park
