  Good Hotel, Great Location

  Location is excellent - right behind the marina where there are loads of bars, restaurants and shops. Beach is less than 5 minutes walk, and close to bus routes and taxi rank. It's a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport.There's a back door which exits right behind the marina - but unfortunately close to a bin store. The rooms are fine. Clean and big enough with wardrobes for storage. Bathroom is ok too, although an extra shelf or two would be good.The hotel was busy when we were there (fully occupied for at least part of the time), but no issues with noise, sunlounger access etc. Space at the outside bar is limited and fills up quickly at night.Evening entertainment is of mixed quality. One or two of the visiting musical acts were ok, but there a few nights when it's a quiz and there was a karaoke night. Animations team is small - usually one member on - and they try hard. Although there are plenty of sunloungers, there are a limited number of parasols, and none at all in the grassed area - room of improvement there.Pool is ok, but probably not ideal for kids - no ball games allowed etc.Food at the restaurant was mixed - excellent breakfast, lunch ok, dinner very average.No issues getting served at the bar, a few minutes wait at worst, and I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful.Overall - decent hotel in a great location, and I'd be happy to go back.   Perfect for us due to location and amazing staff

  2nd time at this hotel and we absolutely love it! the location is perfect, hotel is very clean and reception always smells nice! Grounds are constantly maintained. Stayed room only and all inclusive. Enjoyed the food and drinks (only 2 cocktails on all inclusive and they didn’t change) but couldn’t fault the food the amount of desserts in the restaurant was impressive. always lots of choice and the soup was delicious! Pool snack bar toasties are also yum!The staff make this hotel. From the reception to restaurant/bar staff to life guard to cleaners to management… they are all absolute super stars!! so friendly and helpful! We can’t wait to come back next year! We wanted a matching holiday tattoo and decided to go with the palm tree that’s the logo of the hotel! See you next year!   Perfection at the Palmasol

  We have just visited the Palmasol for the sixth time in the last three years, this time our room was on the south of the hotel overlooking the sea, it was amazing.This hotel is an outstanding place to stay for all regardless of age, it has something for everyone, its hard to single out just one aspect that makes this location so good, but I would just highlight some of the fantastic attributes.From first entering the main door you are met by a reception team who are so welcoming and helpful, not just on day one during check-in, but for the full duration of of our stay, nothing was ever too much trouble.The house keeping team are one of the best we have experienced, they maintained our room for the full duration of our stay and left it at the same high level standard as we found it on our first day, however they were always around the different areas of the hotel, both internal and external throughout the day and evening, the place is always spotless.The pool bar staff are amazing and again about the best we have experienced, they are so friendly and happy it is a pleasure to deal with them, they seam to go out of their way to make friends with all the guests, while delivering this what can only be described seamless from the minute the bars open right up to closing time.The catering team joined up with some of the bar staff deliver an unbelievable service, both breakfast, lunch, evening meal and pool bar snacks, the quality of the food is amazing, so well presented, well cooked and never repetitive, with a verity of different dishes that would please the most discerning diners.We really enjoyed the entertainment programme, this team make every one feel so welcome regardless of the activity, their ethos of exclusivity is a credit to them and the hotel.Lastly but certainly not least the hotels management team, these are the team who ensure the above standards are achieved, but they do this in a way that we have rarely experience, they simply treat their teams like a big family, this is always on show throughout the day, if they are not standing with guests having a laugh they are conversing with individual team members in a way that shows real respect on both sides, we have even experienced senior management serving drinks from the pool bar.To end we will continue to visit the Palmasol twice a year, maybe more if we can. my final comment to the management is, don't change anything perfection is hard to achieve and in our opinion the Palmasol is perfection.Les and Sandra Departamento De Calidad, Other at Hotel Palmasol, responded to this review Thank you so much for choosing Palmasol for the sixth time in three years and for sharing such a wonderful review.We are delighted that you enjoyed your sea-view room and that every part of your stay, from the warm welcome at reception to the care provided by our housekeeping, bar, catering and entertainment teams, helped make your holiday so special.   Excellent value for money. Lovely gardens and pool. Room small but clean but not an issue as we only slept in there. Definately advise a garden/pool view room. We were bed and breakfast. Breakfast was amazing. Very close to marina. All staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble. After speaking to a number of guests who returned year after year we were advised the staff never change. We went 19th September 2026 for a week. Plenty of people still there but not many children. Hotel atmosphere was very friendly.
