Great. But sadly the parador is closed for 2026

Sad to report that the excellent Parador , which we enjoyed several times, is now closed for major reconstruction, and will not be open for 2026.

A restful stay in a stunning location.

    rating19 Oct 2025

We have stayed at the Parador de Nerja many times over the years and have always found it a very relaxing and peaceful holiday. The location is stunning with views over Burriana beach and the Mediterranean. The staff are always unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful and the food is top quality. It is a great shame we shall not be able to visit again until late 2027 due to the closure for refurbishment but I am sure we shall return once the Parador reopens. With the proposed improvements, it promises to be an even better experience and we look forward to returning to this wonderful location. Parador Nerja, Guest Services / Front Office at Parador De Nerja, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback and rating. We are super pleased that you enjoyed your stay once again, and my team and I enjoyed serving you as usual. We look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel upon refurbishment. Kindest regards and take care.
