An average hotel that is way overpriced. Breakfast was very delicious, but dinner was terrible.You can choose from 5 ordinary appetizers and 5 ordinary main courses as well. My husband ordered grilled tuna, but they served him tuna that was microwaved instead.I ordered Mexican-style chicken, but I received a red sauce with broccoli and fried potatoes instead.A huge disappointment when it comes to dinner. And a small beer costs €3!The best thing about the whole hotel is the view from the balcony.Anyone who wants to experience good Spanish cuisine should avoid this hotel!

Another fantastic stay

We had used this hotel earlier this year and had a great time. As we were in the area again it was an easy decision as to where we would stay this time.It is just such a comfortable place that is straightforward, no nonsense and very enjoyable. It is brilliantly located on the beach and even has its own beach bar with sun beds on it. These are chargeable by the way even if you are a guest.Our room was a sea view one and it is definitely worth paying the extra for this. It was wonderful to use the terrace in the morning and the evening and wake up in bed to hear the waves and the seagulls.It's worth noting that from about midday until 6 pm the hotel is directly in the Sun so you can't really use your terrace then unless you want to sunbath.The rooms are simple but well laid out and quite big. We had a cooling box rather than a fridge and although those no kettle in the room you can borrow one free of charge from Reception.The air-conditioning was effective and the bed very nice indeed and we slept well.Parking is a bit tricky and there were no spaces outside the hotel when we arrived on a busy Sunday. We parked about five minutes walk away on a rough piece of land which was €1 a day.The staff are very helpful indeed so this is definitely a good option should you wish to stay in town.

Good location but a good 3 star hotel

Fine location,good staff,very clean and well maintained and very convenient for town and local transport BUT this is NOT a 4 star hotel. The positives are very much in its favour but the hot breakfast completely lets it down. Exactly the same offering every day - the fruit offering is adequate but the attempt at hot breakfast is simply inadequate. The 4 star listing is not justified and should be reviewed.

We had two nights at this very well run hotel and I'm a bit confused about some of the poor reviews on here. We are experienced travellers especially in Spain and this is at the top end of what you would expect and offers great value for money.The first thing to say is the staff are fantastic. We were given a warm welcome, told we could check into our room early and helped with the parking. This by the way is tricky in town but they do have good options and we managed to get one of the dozen or so parking spaces outside the hotel itself. You need to leave your car keys at Reception as they are double parked but it worked perfectly for us.They also helped us by providing a kettle and genuinely seem to care about you having a good time.We got a Seaview room which was superb. Uninterrupted views of the beach and see where a lovely way to spend the mornings and the evenings. The air-conditioning was excellent, the bathroom modern and smart and we had everything we needed for a great stay. True, the beds aren't the comfiest but we slept pretty well and got away without too much noise from the corridor.We were room only so can't comment on the breakfast other than to say it looked typical Spanish selection of meats, cheeses and so on. We did use the beach bar which was lovely and we were aware that it was €8 each to rent sun loungers on the beach which are also very comfortable indeed.It was our first time in this town and we absolute loved it. There's no doubt we will be back and no doubt we'll be staying in this same hotel again as it is so well run.

Location was around a 20 minute taxi to the centre of Malaga . Great location for beachfront , however dependent on what side of the hotel you are on depends on noise. We were located on the front next to a busy main road which was loud all night and continuous beeping. We were given 2 single beds on arrival, although booked a double bed . Toilet was loud and made noise all night . Informed to ask on day of check out for late check out to be informed they were fully booked, although could book another night at full charge to check out late. When down reception whilst waiting for our flight an employee approached us and asked me not to lie down as there manager had said, although there was an older couple also lied down who they did not approach.Advertised as a beach hotel although have to pay 8 euro daily for a bed and if you want to sit in beach bar you have to buy drinks.Atmosphere was very quiet, secluded earlier .
