    Perfect location. We had a marina view, just wow! Pool area is lovely, kids loved it. Only issue is the grass area had a lot of rubbish & cigarette butts left after people on sunbeds. Great playground for kids. Spotless hotel, nothing seemed too much trouble. Baby cots could do with replacing though. Breakfast was lovely, something for everyone. We ate dinner in the hotel once & while the food quality was good there was very little selection & it was expensive. Plenty of good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk though. Supermarket onsite is well stocked & not expensive. Great launderette on site too. The entertainment staff make this hotel, they are so engaging & enthusiastic without being too pushy. Special mention to pablo & lolo. Kids loved the mini disco but wanted it to be longer with the traditional mini disco songs.     Just returned, stayed 17/05/26 - 27/05/26.Arrived midnight, warmly greeted, quickly checked in.Rooms very very dated, but kept clean, showers are great, beds are ok, pillows are the awful 6ft Spanish ones, pull out bed in front room is terrible, not joined, kept falling in between. Views from balcony were stunning, overlooking pool & Marina. All staff very friendly and helpful, the entertainment team are an absolute credit to the hotel, fun, engaging, but not pushy. Pool is a nice size, never had a problem getting a sunbed, there are 100's of them. Only had snacks at pool, was very nice, and fairly priced. Hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. Stayed at roughly 40 hotels over the years in Spain, and the entertainment at this hotel is simply miles better than anything ive had before, rock & roll brothers, mama cath, and all the others were just great. Location is superb, yards from the beach, and everything around you in all directions. There were 16 of us, and all of us cant wait to return next year.Summary.Rooms- Awful, but in fairness, they are updating them. So hopefully next year will be better.Staff.     Holiday for my 60th birthday

    Sol Puerto Marina Hotel is the perfect spot for your holiday. I call it my happy place. It's on flat ground over looking a spectacular beach with plenty of bars and restaurants and taxis just outside. Staff are very efficient and accommodating.I came for my 60th birthday with my family for 9 nights, Champagne and chocs brought to our room for my birthday which was so thoughtful. We had a fabulous time from beginning to end. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Pool area is great with plenty of sun loungers and a lovely bar and restaurant. Always something going on music kids club, games etc.We've visited a few times, and will most definitely return.     Great 3 Star Hotel on the Beach

    The hotel is situated right on the beach and near Benalmadena harbour so you can easily walk along the promenade from Torremolinos to Benalmadena with ease if you feel up to it. The hotel room is slightly dated but clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly and service is very good. Also want to give The Entertainment Team (Pablo, Fabio and Lolo) 5 stars - they work so hard and are great with both children and adults and ensure everyone has great fun. There is also live singers every afternoon between 4-5.30pm as well as evening entertainment. There is a good choice of food if you are half board- the only fault we had was this was not kept hot. Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to going back sometime soon.
