  awsome hotel and location with amazing staff

  staff are amazing here , breakfast is good , evening bar staff are brilliant and apparently make a good margarita, only down side was we didn't realise they had rooms with Juliet balconys not full ones and that what we ended up with , other than that the place is great , 1 min to the beach , huge supermarket at the rear , place is spotless , this is my 2nd review and I still would like to be able to rent a kettle, seems an odd thing to not have available, we ended up buying one and having to leave it (they should have one to rent now ) Hotel Tarik Torremolinos, Dueño at Hotel Tarik, responded to this review Dear Guest, It has been a pleasure to have you stay at our hotel.   Great little find!

  Just returned from a weekend at the Tarik, 2 friends escaping for the weekend and this was a great find. Pro’s Never any sun bed wars! We have been down anywhere from 10am (when pool opens) to 11am and easily got a sun bed.Lovely pool, clean and well looked afterSundeck - fab area and loved the new sun beds with face shades on!Cocktails - happy hour 5-7pm every night at which point 7 euro a cocktail. My personal favourite the ‘Tarik’ - yum! And Luis was such a friendly face, we had a chat a couple of days, shame we didn’t get to say goodbye as he wasn’t around on Sunday. We tried cocktails elsewhere and both agreed the hotel cocktails were the best!Perfect location - literally overlooking the beach and plenty of food choices nearby. Noise - not once did we hear any noise from others entering the hotel, so peaceful at night and the balcony door blind made it pitch black so much easier to sleep. Con’sThe only ‘con’ was the grassy area around the pool, personally we both thought would be better as Astro or the slabs they had around the pool itself, so the little birds kept coming down to hunt for food and then kamikaze fly at you on the way back up (I’m laughing writing this!   An amazing wee gem of a hotel, and I can't wait to return!

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tarik and would definitely return. It exceeded my expectations for a 3-star hotel and I am baffled as to why it doesn't have a higher rating! The hotel is spotless, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the location directly opposite the beach is fantastic. Barbara was so friendly and helpful - what an asset to the hotel! Overall the atmosphere was relaxed and safe, particularly as I was a solo traveller.I do have a few suggestions that I believe would make an already excellent hotel even better.Include the room safe in the room price rather than charging guests an additional fee. To charge for a safe seems an outdated thing to do.Provide kettles in the rooms, or at least make them available on request. I would have liked a herbal tea in the evening or morning.Offer drinks service on the rooftop sun terrace. As a solo traveller, it's difficult to leave my belongings unattended while I go downstairs to buy a drink. Even an occasional service would make a big difference. In 7 days of sunbathing on the terrace, I was only asked once if I would like a drink.Be a little more flexible at breakfast. I asked if I could have an omelette or a boiled egg, but this wasn't available. I also asked if I could have the chicken sausages without the sauce they were served in, but I was told this couldn't be done. Small requests like these would really enhance the breakfast experience. In my 7 days, the chicken sausages without the sauce were available on only one day.Consider offering more flexible payment options, such as paying a deposit with the balance due closer to arrival. Requiring full payment at the time of booking may discourage some guests from reserving well in advance. I would love to book for next year, but will need to save up first and this may prevent me from getting the dates I want.These are only minor suggestions, and they certainly wouldn't stop me from returning. I had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Hotel Tarik to anyone looking for a friendly, well-run beachfront hotel in Torremolinos!   Management bad attitude spoil your stay !!!

  The hotel itself is beautiful. It is exceptionally clean, the grounds are immaculate and very well maintained, the pool is excellent, and both the restaurant and breakfast are outstanding. The facilities truly deserve high praise.Unfortunately, what should have been an excellent stay was overshadowed by the attitude of parts of the reception and management team. Although they often present themselves as friendly, the kindness feels superficial, and several interactions came across as dismissive and rude.I would like to especially recognize Inma, who was consistently warm, professional, and genuinely kind. She made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Barbara was pleasant, although our interactions with her were limited. Dino, the manager, appeared courteous, but our overall experience with management was disappointing.The most unacceptable interaction was with Oscar. One morning, while the area around the pool was being watered, he approached us and loudly told us not to walk through it. His tone was unnecessarily aggressive and disrespectful, making us feel embarrassed rather than simply informed. A polite explanation would have been far more appropriate.Overall, this is a lovely hotel with beautiful facilities, excellent food, and a relaxing atmosphere. However, the poor attitude and lack of professionalism shown by parts of the reception and management team—particularly Oscar—left a lasting negative impression. A hotel of this quality deserves customer service that reflects its otherwise excellent standards. Your husband, on the other hand, I met shortly afterwards and he apologised; we had a brief, very friendly chat.Regarding your comments about our reception staff, I would like to respond as follows: You had a problem with the safe because you could not remember the personal code you had set on arrival, and my staff resolved the issue for you as quickly as possible. We helped you with your travel arrangements to Granada and Marbella, extended your stay by one more night, and honoured the price of your original booking when rates were much higher at that time; we even kept you in the room you’d been allocated – specifically, our best room (a junior suite when you had booked a double room with a sea view) – and accommodated you without any issues.I’m also aware that there was a problem with the car hire booking, which was resolved immediately… My staff provided you with advice regarding your enquiries during your visits to Granada and Marbella. In short, this is standard practice for our service, and something our customers recognise in their ratings and reviews.We remain at your disposal should you wish to visit us again

  ?My friend and I just got back from a 3-day stay at Hotel Tarik, and it was nothing short of absolute perfection from start to finish!?Here is why we’re already wanting to go back:?The Vibe & Cleanliness: The entire property feels brand new and is kept spotlessly clean. ?The Food & Drinks: Absolutely amazing! Every meal was delicious, and the drinks were top-tier. ?The Pool: A massive highlight. It is the absolute perfect size and kept at the perfect temperature for relaxing. ?The Staff: Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. ?We had 3 days of pure bliss here.
