  Poor and let down by reception staff

  PoorStayed as part of Jet2 package holiday. On arrival was told the room was not ready until 3pm unless we paid an extra €10 now. So, the room was ready but they wanted extra money. Reception staff are poor and rules just depend who is working. Bar IS NOT 24/7 with alcohol not served after whatever time the receptionist can be bothered serving it. Self check in doesn’t work and room keys regularly fail. Overall let down by poor and rude reception staff!

  Noisy rooms with very thin walls - not recommended

  Initially really impressed with the cleanliness when I arrived at Tent. The self check in was a pain at 2am when I had been travelling and experienced delays as the self check in facility didn't find me! The room, once I got in was fresh, clean and whilst basic perfect for me. If you are coming to rest though forget it! The level of noise is ridiculous, I could hear those in the rooms next to me walking with flip flops on! The walls are ridiculously thin and i am glad I brought earplugs. Mind you in the mornings the earplugs were ineffective when housekeeping arrive and start moving the furniture. The morning variety of food was amazing and I was super impressed. The walk to the beach was less impressive!All in all had it not been for the noise and thin walls i would have returned but when a holiday is for rest and relaxation and you can hear every sound from either side and the day starts at 8am with furniture being dragged along the floor it's not for me unfortunately and if you enjoy your bed and sleep i wouldn't recommend. Previous review responses express a desire to improve soundproofing rooms - this definitely needs to be a priority.   Terrible Hotel don’t go!

  Terrible Hotel, they don’t offer even the “basics” you have to pay for everything, pay for the towels, pay for the security box even the worst hotel hast that for free, TV don’t works and I’m still waiting the Technic…the gym is a joke, you don’t have a fridge in your room and the attention is terrible, no one is there when you need something I had a couple in the next room screaming and with laud music at 4 am and they say that “they can’t do nothing” I payed for a 5 stars hotel and I had the feeling that I was in a Favella.   Everything perfect except for being refused an actual key not everyone takes there phone out .If I go drinking or swimming I don’t want to be forced to bring my phone .   We stayed 2 nights to be near the airport for an early flight at the end of a long holiday in Spain. Great value for money. We had a sea view room and the view was amazing. Pool area was good. Breakfast/brunch very good but busy at 8am when it first opens. Staff at reception were efficient and helpful. The location is ok - an easy and nice walk to the main centre of St Miguel street, but a longer walk to the beach - steep downhill with steps.
