Location

Perfect for parents with children, this hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood about 1.5 km from tourist attractions, and the centre of Almuñécar can be reached in 6 km. An alpine ski area with lifts and a network of cross-country trails can be reached within approximately 70 km.

Facility

241 rooms, including 3 junior suites and 160 double rooms, are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and a 4-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, an alarm call service, a hairdresser, a conference room and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. A garage is available for parking (for a fee).

Rooms

Ski lifts provide easy access to the pistes. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym, table tennis, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards, darts, bowling and table football. Various wellness options, such as a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, massage treatments, acupuncture treatments, anti-ageing treatments, a solarium, acupressure, cellulite treatment, fango treatments, a reflexology massage and a hydrojet massage, are offered for a fee. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can dine at the restaurant (non-smoking, a buffet, air conditioning and high chairs). Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. Among the advantages of an all-inclusive stay are a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as special offers like snacks. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu also offers gluten-free meals and lactose-free food. The chefs prepare delicious specialities during the show cooking. For an extra fee, international brands are available.

    Smoke entering my room

    Stay was spoilt by a smoker living below me as was not able to enjoy the balcony and when they smoked the doors were closed but smoke still managed to enter my room above .Ended up with a sinus infection ,as the rest of the world does does not permit smoking in hotels .Its a shame as the weather was really good and this day and age why compromise to allow smoking which is difficult to demarcate from other hotel users who have also paid a lot of money to enjoy the premises .

    Great Hotel, not your classic all inclusive

    Fantastic hotel, came for 4 days with my sister! Unexpectedly it was a resort mainly for Spanish people, as there wasn’t many English speaking staff there. They were so helpful and did try their best though, and Google translate helped us a few times! The drinks were so good by the pool bar my favourite was the non alcoholic mojito. 5/5!! The pool selection was so good, the main pool was chilly but so good once you were in and there was another ‘main one’ on a lower platform. It was so sunny and for the days it wasn’t there was an indoor pool, heated with a jacuzziThis was so good because it was an anti plastic hotel!Food was good, classic all inclusive selection but very fresh. Sadly drinks weren’t included in your all inclusive at dinner which I felt was a little strange. We had to pay for every drink we had and we did save ourselves time by doing a big shop at the supermarket in La herudda.We can’t drive and we did see all the negative reviews about getting about, but we managed it fine!!Absolutely would go again

    The place is superb for the price paid. The staff are really great, the food is very good, and the additional services/entertainment are also nice. There’s a spa, bowling, a great pool area, etc. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus service to the beach of La Herradura. I must say that they are really trying to do their best. However, the rooms are a little bit outdated—ask for a sea view, which is truly amazing. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers without a car and with the desire to explore the surroundings. As always, Spanish/Andalusian public transport is a nightmare: expect heavy delays and arm yourself with a huge amount of patience.     Enjoyable family stay

    Just returned from a week in July. 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Had a really good stay. Apartments are aged but very clean and has most things you need. 3x pools all offer something different and could always get a couple of beds. Food was plentiful and varied. Different theme every night but still your staples for kids and adults. Small shop on site has water and snacks. Larger supermarkets are down the hill on the beach. The shuttle that takes you there and back is useful but pick up points seem to change, so always check with the driver. Beach is stones and silt but not too busy and has cafes and tourist shops. Resort was mainly Spanish guests, which we enjoyed. Entertainment through the day and evening. Really enjoyed the foam party and water carpet. Has bowling alley and arcade underneath reception. Staff were very accommodating although we did not need them much. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and it was good for the price we paid.     Very good hotel, average facilities but very good atmosphere, very nice and helpful staff, cleaning service very reliable. good food and nice pools, not overcrowded, open at 10 so you don't have to reserve sunbeds. we will definitely come back.
