Location

This up-market hotel is situated in Almunecar's tourist centre. San Cristobal Beach is within easy reach, just across the road from the hotel, on the other side of the pleasant promenade. There are several shopping areas surrounding the hotel where guests may explore the different shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Various water sport facilities are available at locations within walking distance of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 232 rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Fantastic hotel in a great location. Very friendly staff. We booked a junior suite, which was fabulous, with spa bath. Amazing sea views from spacious balcony. All the little luxury touches made it really special. The restaurant staff were very welcoming and the food was exceptional. We will definitely be going back in the future. Thankyou for making our stay very special.

    We had a great experience at the Helios Almunecar, we stayed in the suite and we were well looked after nice pillows and comfy bed.

    Excellent hotel, directly across from the beach. The staff are lovely, the rooms are spotless, the beds comfortable. Breakfast options are extensive, 2 nights was not long enough. There is a bus into the old town, a castle and museum to explore and a lovely paseo to walk along. Would highly recommended the hotel and area, if you can afford it go for a corner panoramic sea view rooms, but all rooms do have a view of the sea.

    I stayed at Hotel Helios Almuñécar during a cycling trip with a group of women, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for an active holiday combined with relaxation.The rooms were comfortable and clean, with very comfortable beds and no noise at night, which made it easy to recover after long rides. We also had lovely sea views, just like in the photos, which added a special touch to the stay.What really stood out for us as cyclists was how well the hotel is prepared for bike trips. There is a dedicated bike storage area, a place to wash bikes, and even tools available for basic repairs — everything you might need on a cycling trip.The location is another big advantage. The hotel is very close to the beach, as well as shops and local attractions, making it convenient both for training rides and relaxing walks.The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely welcoming. They were always helpful and created a very friendly atmosphere throughout our stay.The food was delicious — both breakfast and dinner offered a great variety, with excellent fish and seafood, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. And I have to mention the coffee — really good, which is always a bonus!The overall atmosphere was शांत and peaceful, making it a perfect place to rest and recharge.I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for cycling groups or anyone looking for a calm, comfortable stay by the sea with very nice and lovely Personel.
