Location

This comfortable beach-side hotel is only separated from the Playa Galera bay by a small coastal road. Situated at the edge of the resort, the inviting sandy beach and turquoise blue ocean is an inviting prospect. This up-market hotel is ideally located for excursions out into the Sierra Nevada and stands out above all for its central but also calm location. The centre and old town of Almuñecar are both 2 km from the hotel, a comfortable distance on foot. In the immediate vicinity there are shopping facilities, numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and cafés aplenty, as well as extensive entertainment venues available within a 3 km radius. Málaga Airport is 70 km from the hotel and Granada is around 80 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 27 junior suites and 226 double rooms located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     Beautiful hotel ,situated more or less on the water, the rooms and the hotel overall is spotlessly clean & modern, the pool area is great, plenty of beds & the buffet restaurant has plenty to choose from, the only down side is that English is not widely understood but I suppose we are in Spain so that’s on me

    Kitchen is bad regarding dinner buffet. Not acceptable quality. Dry slices of various meat and pieces of fish soaked in some different liquid. The climate control in the room always produce central controled season temperature independent of room adjustment.Total experience with kitchen is bad.Most thing during our stay was closed down. Upgrade of room locally was not possible at our specs.Very unecpected quality of our 12 day stay.The only possible thing is service and quality of the bar and the bar personell at reception level.

    A great hotel with excellent facilities. Spotless and clean with terrific staff who are friendly and helpful.Room was spacious, clean and serviced every day, including fresh towels if desired. The beds were comfy and helped in getting a great nights sleep - A must when on holiday!The food is varied, local dishes and the evening show cooking offers a terrific chance to sample great freshly prepared food. The only criticisisim is breakfast would benefit by being kept slightly warmer.The pool is excellent - Decent deep end to allow the kids to dive/jump and the system of booking a sunbed is a great idea - No sunbed wars during the entire stay.A wonderful find in a quiet spot on the coast that is recommended and a place I look forward to visiting again.

    Just about to finish our week in this hotel and we've had an absolute ball! We booked a junior suite and we're delighted with our room 530 - it's huge! We're traveling as two adults, a 6 year old, and a 6 month old. I emailed ahead to have a cot in the room and this request was already in the room when we arrived. I was expecting a travel cot but it was a real cot with collapsible side which meant my baby did actually sleep in it!! Breakfast buffet was fantastic - love all the pastries, churros, pancakes and self-service Nutella (my daughter was in heaven!). Lunch buffet had lots of options but it wasn't really my kind of food - my husband loved it though, and I enjoyed the desserts.When we arrived, we were half-board breakfast and dinner but when I realized dinner starts at 8:30pm I was so disappointed as my children would be asleep, luckily reception had absolutely no issue switching us to breakfast and lunch instead, this really made such a difference and I was so grateful how easy the switch was.The only drawback in our particular situation was the loud music a couple of nights. The kids slept through it luckily, but the grown-ups didn't so I was a bit disappointed not to get a good night sleep two nights, but it wasn't every night which I appreciated! We would definitely return in the future when our children are a bit older and could appreciate the activities. All in all, we've had a brilliant holiday!!

    No free parking no shops near all close 9 pm staff very bad, food was very bad Hotel nice location Pool to small for the size of Hotel Was horrible, not recommended 👎
