    I came with 4 colleages for business. We slept in 4 different rooms. Nothing to complaint about. Staff was kind, they waited for us and we came at 00.00h... Rooms were big and the bathroom in the room was awesome.

    Very impressed with this little two star hotel. Just a few minutes from the beach and very central for everything. Great hot water every day and good lighting in the bedroom so you were able to easily read. Cleaned every day. Staff were very helpful, looked after us well and answered all our questions. They also offer safes in the rooms at an extra cost. Not much in the way of entertainment but it is the winter. I did find a couple of channels on the TV in English. There was actually wifi in the bedrooms too, but sometimes not a very strong signal. Food in the restaurant didnt look too appetizing but actually tasted quite good. Should give more variety of salads though. The wine offered with our lunch and dinner was actually quite good too. Would definitely stay here again.

    Conveniently Located for El Majuelo Park

    We booked for one night in July as we were attending a concert in the park, The hotel is rather tired in appearance but it was clean and comfortable enough for a night or two. The air conditioning in the room worked very well and the wifi signal was strong. The room was a reasonable size, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was particularly dated with a small bath with shower attachment. In conclusion it was reasonably priced for the facilities provided and we would stay there again if we attended another concert in the park. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the area so we did not eat at the hotel. Parking was an issue as the public car park appeared to have been closed down, so the only option was street parking payable at the machine.

    My stay at Hotel Carmen in Almuñécar was perfect! The room was tidy and clean, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The hotel is located next to a beautiful park and within a few minutes walking from the sea. I would definitely recommend anybody visiting this beautiful little seaside village to stay at this hotel, as it has everything you need for a very pleasant stay!

    Friendly staff, clean and large room, we found the Hotel Carmen very well priced for a quick one night stop over. The shower was was hot and powerful but the bed wasn't very comfortable. But it was good value for money! We were on the ground floor and there was a little street noise till midnight, but it is Spain and that will happen wherever you are. There seemed to be an older crowd at the Hotel Carmen and I would really recommend this place to anyone looking for a wild time or those who intend on coming back to the hotel very late, noisy and drunk.
