This hotel is absolutely stunning and the location is perfect! Our holiday was amazing and super relaxing. From the amenities, to the rooms and staff, there is not a single bad thing we can say about this property! A special shoutout to Neli and Poi at the reception, they were super kind, helpful and friendly. M. Angelo, Consuelo, Stella, Ivon and Rocio from the food and beverage team made our week. Always ready to assist with a big smile and all of them were super friendly (as every other staff member to be honest!). Also, Tatiana from the animation team was great and very cheerful. We will 100% return and hopefuly bring more family members next time.

Four days pure relaxation

Had a wonderful four days here at the end of October - was just what was needed - relaxation, beautiful beaches around and the best chiringuito I have ever visited - Bartolo - 5 mins stroll from the hotel. I am not one for staying in bit hotels, but the layout of the Riu Palace is so well done that you don't feel like you are on a massive soulless cruise ship. The staff, without exception, were excellent. The food very good - although more than 4 days might become a bit repetitive and also I would be come too fat! Really enjoyed the morning stretch and fitness sessions by the pool and in the pool! Very reasonably priced wine list. A lovely time to visit - although sadly the wind meant we couldn't go in the sea which was a shame, but still lovely and warm.

We recently stayed at La Mola Hotel in Formentera, and our experience was extremely disappointing. For a hotel charging around £600 a night, we expected better. We had to unload and carry our own luggage, something you’d usually get help with at this level. At check-in, there was a man arguing with the receptionist, and staff handled it appallingly showing no care or help for the man’s issues. When it was our turn, we had booked our 15-year-old daughter as an infant by mistake and tried to charge €180 extra per night. After an hour, we negotiated it to €120 this was daylight robbery, but then they placed us in the worst bungalow with no view, even though the website suggests otherwise. After rejecting one bungalow with a broken door, we got another, presented aggressively as “the best.” This process took over 90 minutes, and the manager avoided us after requesting to talk to her. When she finally spoke, she was just as dismissive. At one point, she made a gesture, putting her fingers in her mouth and mimicking a trigger pull, which was shocking and deeply unprofessional. She also told us, “This is the Riu hotel,” as if it was supposed to be so special and this level of service was what we should expect as mere customers.There is a deep-rooted issue at reception, as other reviews show. Once past that, the hotel was lovely, food and restaurant service were great. But the reception team’s attitude ruined our stay. I regularly stay at the sister hotel in Mallorca and always receive excellent service. Here, they acted like I’d never stayed in luxury before.After returning home, my wife had a stroke, and we realized we’d left a Gucci scarf behind. The hotel found it, but refused to send it, even though I offered to pay via bank transfer, telling us to arrange a courier as they couldn’t be bothered. It felt like dealing with a machine that just says no zero service zero empathy.We stayed for 5 nights in July. The reception team here ruins the brand, and I’d hesitate to stay at another of their hotels unless they fix this. They are getting away with it due to the location but they forget that they represent the hotel brand

We visited Riu Palace La Mola last week and had a fantastic time! All of the staff are wonderful, they cannot do enough for you; they are so friendly and accommodating! Special mentions go to Alejandra and Geovani in the main restaurant - both are super smiley and attentive. The hotel is immaculate, has such a relaxed atmosphere, and is truly beautiful. We ate in the main restaurant for our five nights, and enjoyed all of our meals there (breakfast too). There is a huge choice of food, lots of which is cooked in front of you. We also tried out the snack bar for some lunch, this food was good too. The food in the main restaurant is good for all ages, tastes, dietary needs, and it changes evening to evening. We went for the first week of September, we didn’t ever experience trouble getting a table, nor being rushed. There are three swimming pools, plus a very small baby one. All are lovely and again, we didn’t ever experience it feeling too busy, there were always sunbeds available. We stayed in one of the bungalows as a family of four (two young children), and felt the space was big enough for us all. The room was cleaned daily too. There are a lot of steps around as the hotel is on various levels, and it gradually goes down towards the beach. There is an access road to the side of the hotel and between the two main buildings which is useful should you need to avoid the steps (which we did with a pushchair). Check out was 12 noon but that just applied to the room, we stayed the rest of the day at the pool and were able to use the showers/changing rooms before leaving which was really handy. We definitely would recommend this hotel and would love to visit again!

A very good resort, recently renovated so everything feels fresh and new, with calm and stylish décor throughout. The location is fantastic—right on a beautiful beach. It’s a large resort so it can get busy, but the staff are excellent and really make the effort to give personalised service.Food was a highlight: clean, tasty, and high quality, especially impressive given the number of guests. The gym is also great—medium-sized, fully equipped, and well air-conditioned.Overall, a fun and relaxing stay with great value for money, thanks to the quality of the food and the hard-working, attentive staff. Thank you!
