Location

This hotel is located just 1 km from the beach. A fishing harbour is located nearby and in a number of minutes guests will arrive in the centre with plenty of shopping venues, restaurants and bars. Las Dunas national park is only 5 minutes away and the nearest public transport stops 50 m from the hotel.

Facility

186 apartments are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service (for a fee). A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. The apartment hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of activities such as bocce, beach volleyball and fishing or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, are offered at the hotel. Water sports available at the hotel include windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving. A wide range of indoor sporting activities are also offered, for example a gym, bowling and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards and darts. After a long day, guests can relax in the wellness area, which features a spa and a solarium. Massage treatments are among the facilities available for an extra fee. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch à la carte and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. The apartment hotel also offers snacks. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    All in all nice apartments,clean but had few issues which some couldn’t have been helped well some of them. Hotel website states 4 minute walk to town centre this is not the case, there’s a long way and a quick way { quick way very uneven and bumpy I ended up falling} pool bar has great choice of food but bar at night says food and entertainment choice is pizza, chips, chicken wings or nuggets not a great choice. Restaurant upstairs was closed.The wee shop on site was closed on the Sunday sign on door says back 5 minutes so waited 20 minutes then left went down town came back and shop still closed so asked at reception staff member was ill but no sign on door to state this until I asked then notice put up, staff member didn’t speak english when I went on the Monday I had to speak into a phone for her to use translate.Also had to wait 1hr for handy man to come for safe box which I could have done myself. I was on bottom floor so balcony door n window was closed at all times along with bedroom curtains but opened balcony curtains for light but I had a male climb through bedroom window at the back of 7pm at night so I’m wondering how the window got open as I never opened it and checked on first night I arrived. { so I advised to check balcony & windows when get back}The staff were helpful Hesperia Bristol Playa , Innkeeper at Apartamentos Hesperia Bristol Playa, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your stay with us.We are pleased to hear that you found the apartments clean and that our staff were helpful during your visit.     4th time here and everytime is a brilliant experience, nice and clean complex, George at the pool bar is so polite and friendly and always wants to talk with us. We were only here in December couldn't wait to get back and we enjoy it that much here we have also booked to come back for a 5th time in October. Great location literally a 10 minute walk into town, loads of bars, shops and restaurants etc on the doorstep.     This is our 4th time here, amazing friendly staff just like always, especially George at the pool bar, very helpful and very polite, nice clean complex and perfect location, we love it that much here we have decided to book again and come back in October, our previous visit here was in December and we couldn't wait to get back here this time round.     our stay was absolutely fantastic, we had an amazing time on holiday! our room was just what we needed, all facilities avaliable on site and the bar staff are fantastic, the bartender George was very accommodating helping with any requests and speedy service assisting my partners Grandmother with any question and requests that she had.
