Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers and families, this hotel is situated in a quiet area in Caleta de Fuste, right by the sea.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2021. 486 non-smoking rooms are available. The friendly staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. The hotel provides a currency exchange service, a car hire service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, 3 conference rooms and a theatre hall. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the sofa bed. A desk, and for a fee, a safe and a minibar are also available. Extra comforts include a tea/coffee station. A telephone, a flatscreen television and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are on hand in the bathrooms for everyday use. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking, crazy golf and golf. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and table tennis. A range of wellness facilities, such as a spa, a sauna, a hammam, thalassotherapy treatments and a hydrojet massage, are offered at the hotel. Meals

Dining facilities include a bar and a lobby bar. Guests can indulge their palates at 2 restaurants (non-smoking, a buffet and à la carte).     A short mums and daughters trip here did not disappoint….everything we wanted from mini break in the sun. We loved the quieter pool and acres to the beach. Also close to the Marina where our daughters got to swim with a Sea Lion, highlight of the trip!

    4th time visitor to the Fuerteventura Mar, and frequent visitor to Barcelo hotels on the Spanish mainland. This hotel is in the best location on the bay. The Barcelo group own the 4 hotels surrounding the bay and the shops bars at the harbour. Its just a shame they don't maintain the harbour walkway, which is now a severe health hazard. This said it might not be the Barcelo's obligation. The rooms are good, the fridge works and most food tastes are catered for very well. The pool is very clean, but I wonder about the lack of toilets near them and the continence of its clientele. No need for men to dress for dinner, it's very relaxed, with trainers, shorts and the occasional football shirt to be seen [why always Liverpool]. An older crowd with few if any 20 or 30 somethings. strictly for the older set. Tips are to request block 6 as its quieter and away from the Irish football bar which can be noisy, and if non AI, then drink white wine as the portion size is 2.5x that given to red. Early check in is mostly a myth [4pm is standard] so don't bother with an early flight, and late check out is likewise even if previously agreed. The My Barcelo membership does give a nice bottle of cava, along with a generous mini bar and snacks.     All inclusive should mean all inclusive a lot of drinks you had to pay for Pink Gin being one of them ! But my husband had Captain Morgans spiced rum and it was included.
