  We really loved this hotel. Easy 3/4 min walk to wonderful quiet beach. Good breakfast & evening meal choices. Great sized room with a big balcony. Staff were lovely.   Absolutely amazing hotel. Shame it’s changing from adult only

  We have been coming to Costa Calma for many years at least a couple of times a year. We have tried different hotels and apartments searching for the ideal place to stay. I have to say this hotel was it. It had everything we wanted, a comfortable bed, great food and a relaxing adult only atmosphere. The staff were incredibly happy and helpful. We were so happy and decided we would change the hotel we had booked for June to come back to Bluesea as it was perfect for us. Unfortunately we found out that from May the hotel would no longer be adult only. We are so sad about this as we would have loved to have made this our regular hotel for our trips. It’s a shame about the change as I don’t think it’s suitable as a children’s hotel but a perfect adult’s only. Back to trying to find the right hotel but we absolutely loved our stay.   Definitely worth a visit

  From arriving to leaving this hotel is fantastic. I arrived late evening and food had be left for me which was lovely and appreciated. The rooms are spotlessly clean and spacious. The food was plentiful and delicious. The pool looked inviting unfortunately due to disabilities couldn't try it but plenty of sun loungers around the pool. The little gift shop in reception is ideal for little gifts or keepsakes. But for me the thing that makes this hotel stand out are the fantastic staff , warm and friendly always helpful.   OK not geat but good value for money and a nice pool

  On the whole a good holiday. The plus points - The pool was lovely and nice and warm plenty of room and sunbeds. Nice small bar near to it with snacks and drinks Yes you had to pay a deposit for a cup but happy to do that it stops all the mess around the pool.Good location near a mini market, Nice beach. The cons - Food was a bit "samey" yes there was always something to eat but choice was limited Not many places to sit in reception and at night. Entertainment typical canaries apart from the saxophonist who was brilliant. Nice small hotel compared to some we stayed at. Staff were fine (apart from the lady in the pool bar who never smiled). Pillows were poor but asked for another one and was delivered within a few hours same for the topper (the mattresses were uncomfy without it ! On the whole ok for what we paid would i go back ? Only if it was cheap !   Quiet and relaxing

  Not the holiday we had planned due to our original destination being cancelled 1 week before departure. Due to the time frame we had limited choice, but the hotel was lovely. spread over 5 floors, the rooms are spacious and all face the sea. Higher floors have a better view. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean which is an essential in our book. Rooms are serviced daily and bed linen changed once per week. There is a fridge in the rooms and a shop over the road if you need drinks in your room.There is an really good eco-friendly ethos throughout the hotel including reusable plastic glasses at the pool bar, which cost 1 euro deposit. Pool towels are provided and there is a 1 euro charge each time you change them. Plenty of room around the pool and you can move the beds about if you are a late riser and need a couple together. There is an activity around the pool each day, but no pressure to get involved. We did get a little bored, so went to the beach on a few occasions, which was lovely. Reception staff and pool entertainment staff were lovely, but a few of the others were a bit sullen and didn't really engage with the guests.So far, so good. Now for the things that didn't float our boat:The buffet. Whilst plenty of choice, it was very 'samey' and the themed nights weren't really much different. The food was luke warm at best. I have never before seen a microwave being used by guests to heat their food! We were on 2 weeks AI but ate out most of the second week.The entertainment: Starts at 9pm, finishes at 10pm. That's it! If you enjoy international singers, you'll love it. The Bar: Shuts at 11pm! Not great for AI really. We were not on holiday to go to bed early so found a shopping centre out the back of the hotel to the left, which had a few bars and restaurants and spent most evenings there. WORD OF WARNING the back gates are locked at midnight so we had to walk down a dark lane to get to the front of the hotel...which was locked! In all, if you want a quiet hotel, away from the hustle and bustle, this is a good place to go. We enjoyed it, it was clean and we needed a quiet break, so it ticked those boxes. Would we return? Probably not.
