  This hotel was perfect in every way. The reviews are absolutely true — the accommodation far exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad we booked here. From the moment we landed to the moment we went home, we were completely taken care of.We were welcomed with a glass of cava on arrival and given a full, friendly debrief at check‑in. The staff were wonderful throughout our entire stay.Our room/duplex had everything we could possibly need: a full kitchen (minus an oven), a comfortable living area, a spacious bathroom, and a large bedroom with a hair and makeup station tucked behind the bed (hairdryer included). There were also USB charging points built into the headboard, which was a great touch.We stayed in a street‑access duplex, which was perfect for us as we were on a cycling holiday. Being able to step straight out of the patio doors and onto the road made everything so easy. We also had sun on our terrace from around 10am to 7pm every day — ideal for relaxing on the huge daybed or enjoying dinner at the outdoor table. They’ve truly thought of everything here.The pool area and soft daybeds were perfect. The gym was well equipped, spotless, and even had a filtered water machine. I noticed yoga classes taking place, though I didn’t join so can’t comment on those. There are washing machines and dryers available for €6 per wash, which I thought was great value and saved us having to leave the complex.If you have a late flight or need to check out early, you can leave your luggage in the secure storage room and continue using all the facilities for the rest of the day. There are even showers by the gym — with towels provided by reception — so you can freshen up before heading to the airport. Such a thoughtful and convenient touch.It was my husband’s birthday during our stay, and the staff surprised him with a hand‑delivered bottle of fizz and a handwritten birthday note — a really special gesture.The location is excellent too: close to supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, bars, the promenade, and more. There’s only a small beach nearby, but a 10‑minute walk to the bus stop and a 15‑minute bus ride takes you to the dunes, which are absolutely beautiful.Overall, an exceptional stay.   Another Fantastic Stay at Buendia

  This was our second stay at Buendia, and it definitely won’t be our last!From start to finish, everything about our stay was excellent. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the lovely glass of Cava on arrival was the perfect touch after travelling.Our apartment was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the sunbeds with the small pool surrounding them they were an absolute lifesaver when you just needed to cool off and relax. The main pool was also beautifully heated and always the perfect temperature.A huge shoutout to the team at Waves Bar & Restaurant. The service was outstanding throughout our stay, and the food and drink selection was fantastic easily 10/10.We truly can’t wait to return again soon!   Impressive spacious apartments. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast and lunch food on site. It's a shame the bar closed at 6pm and wasnt open throughout the evening. I'm not sure if this is due to being early in the season. Also self check in, took time as there was 6 of us to check in, but staff were helpful and we were given a welcome drink.
