  Brilliant place, excellent value for money !

  Just heading home from an amazing stay at Bungalows Castillo Playa.Arrived late in day to a bottle of red wine, water and fruit bowl waiting for us in our bungalow. We paid a little extra for a pool side room which was well worth it. Could sunbathe all day on the patio and a very short stroll to the pool to cool down.Lovely little bar on site which serves meals during the day. Very reasonable, lovely staff and the happy hour prices in an after were great - €2.50 for a sangria which was lovely. Cleaners came most days to change towels and mop round inside and out which was a lovely surprise.Staff all really friendly and helpful. Lifeguard on the pool during the week days and a lovely security man at the front gate at night.Location is amazing , very short stroll into town and would highly recommend. So much so we booked again for next year two days after we arrived. ??Only fault was we had to go home after two weeks but counting down to coming back next year !

  First time for the island and these great little bungalows Loved the place. We stayed for 11 nights and in that time our bungalow was cleaned every day. Towels replaced everyday and bed was changed at least 4 times. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. After our 1st night there we upgraded to a pool view bungalow and was the best thing we could have done. Our new bungalow had been updated. Sir condition in both rooms. Which was badly needed as temps were in high 30s The on site pool bar was lovely. Again staff were great and very hard working On arrival we had a bottle of water, bottle of red wine and a bowl of fresh fruit. Situated near everything We have already booked for next year

  We had a really enjoyable stay at Castillo Playa Bungalows and would happily consider staying here again.Location is a big plus. The beach is just a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops also within easy reach. It’s also conveniently located for Fuerteventura Airport, so there’s no long transfer at either end of your holiday.The bungalows were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was another highlight — it never felt overcrowded while we were there, making it easy to find a sunbed and relax.One nice touch is that each bungalow comes with two sun loungers. Our particular bungalow got the sun from around 11:30am right through until the evening, which was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the afternoon and evening sun.We were also impressed with the facilities. There was air conditioning in both the lounge and bedroom, which was very welcome. The Wi-Fi wasn't bad either, averaging around 28 Mbps download, which was more than adequate for browsing and streaming. The fridge/freezer was a decent size, and there is also an on-site launderette, which is handy if you're staying for more than a few days.A few negativesThere aren't really many negatives. The bungalows are adequate, comfortable and perfectly functional, but some areas could do with a bit of updating. The finishing and general snagging also seemed a little random in places — nothing that affected our stay, but a little attention to detail and some updating would make them even better.A useful tip ??If you're staying here, the bar sells 5-litre bottles of water for €2.50. That's worth knowing as it saves you having to carry a large bottle back from the nearest shops!OverallFor us, Castillo Playa Bungalows offered a clean, comfortable and well-located base for a holiday in Caleta de Fuste. It's not the most modern accommodation you'll find, but the location, friendly staff, quiet pool area and useful facilities more than make up for that.We'd definitely consider coming back. ????

  We have been here for 4 weeks in one of the bungalows and it as been amazing, we had 6 weeks last year and had no hesitation in returning, the complex is very clean and safe and the staff can’t do enough, however, I have heard that some people who do social media have been complaining that the bar/food area is closing early as there is a shortage of staff due to holidays, etc, these girls work very hard and long hours, nothing is any trouble and they also have a life outside the complex, so if you read anything regarding the above I suggest you take no notice as I think they just need something to belly ache about..get a life..the complex is amazing and we will be returning next year without doubt…thank you all..D,V,T,S..and M..( keep up the great work you do)..xx ( G and S) your FAN xx

  Amazing stay

  What an amazing place, yes a bit dated with wood furniture but so clean and comfortable, massive fridge freezer, toaster kettle microwave and hob everything you need, on your patio 2 sunbeds with cushions , table and chairs with umbrella, spent many days sunbathing here, bar and restaurant on site, free air-conditioning , safety deposit 2 euro a night , no deposit required, amazing pool area,maids came every day , clean towels beds changed when you wanted, couldn't have asked for more,2 minutes walk to beach turn right out of complex 10.50 euros for 2 sunbeds, smiles restaurant a must 5.90 euros for 2 large beers, 10 mins round beach to harbour, market 2 times a week , 5 minutes walk, turn left out of complex and 5 minutes walk to allbars shops , western bar good food, Irish bar playing all sports, would 100% recommend and will definitely be back,
