    Stayed for 4 nights last week. Great location for both the centre, supermarket and beach.Staff great.Pool and garden nice.Everything and I mean everything needs massively updating which is the only downside.

    Met all expectations. Excellent helpful reception, very good regular cleaning staff and the grounds were very well maintained. The Bungalows themselves were excellent for two people, maybe a little dated but all the facilities were excellent. Beds comfortable (they had added Mattress toppers ) and plenty of cupboard space.The Kitchen was sparse but adequate and the Bathroom clean and kept clean. The Sun loungers outside were a very nice touch and the general clientele were great too, it does attract a more mature customer here. Its centrally placed for everything and we look forward to returning one day.

    My husband and I have been staying at Castillo Playa for over 15 years and we’ve just returned from our latest visit and have had another wonderful stay. It’s located only a ten minute drive from the airport and the location is so convenient. It’s less than a five minute walk to the beach and the centre of Caleta is a five minute walk in the opposite direction. The bungalows have everything you need for a comfortable stay and we’ve seen some improvements since our last visit; new towels, bigger coffee mugs and a an additional bed in the living room which is great if there are more than two of you staying in the bungalow. The outdoor patio has two loungers, a table and two chairs and a washing line. Word of warning, the loungers don’t have cushions but these can be purchased cheaply at the China shop just up the road. The pool bar has a good selection of food and drink, all very reasonably priced, and the ladies who work there are really friendly and welcoming. The staff on reception are delightful and a special welcome to Luis, the wonderful security man, who never fails to put a smile on our faces.

    We had a very nice stay at these apartments and there is much to recommend. The location is superb - three minutes to the coast with its beautiful promenade and between five and fifteen minutes to the many excellent restaurants in resort. The apartments themselves are spacious and with ample storage space. Facilities for self catering are good. The terrace is also a generous size with ample room for tables, chairs and sun beds. The pool is big enough for a decent swim though we found it too cold in March. The bar offers a good selection of food and drink though it is currently operating shorter hours due to staff shortages. There is a real community feel about the complex and everyone is very friendly indeed. The one thing that lets the place down slightly is the standard of cleanliness. This is not the fault of the team of ladies who service the apartments. They do their best in the time they are given. The place needs a comprehensive deep clean to get into all the corners in the bathroom, to bleach the grout, to reach the window frames above head height. I understand that a refurbishment program is planned and when that happens we would love to return.

    Usually stay in the caybech bungalows but got a better deal to stay here so gave it a try. Location is great and feels very secure. Rooms are dated but clean. Really not far from anything at all. Personally preferred the caybeach but I would return.
