  Great choice in Caleta

  25 May 2026

Stayed at the Caybeach for 9 nights in May and enjoyed every minute. The bungalows are equipped to a level where you can self cater if you wish to. The microwave in our bungalow was very well worn so some clients musy do that. The rooms are large and we had some excellent sleeps as the beds are very comfy and the bungalows are in a quiet location. The accomadation was kept clean and tidy by very friendly housekeeping staff. What we did miss was a welcome pack. We had been there for 3 days before we knew about the pool bar happy hour and didn't know there was any entertainment until we spotted the board in reception when we checked out! (Our arrival check in was late in the evening and just wanted to get to the bungalow and unpack so maybe that was our fault). We think there was crazy golf and boules somewhere on site but, again, we only saw that on checking out. We still managed to have a great holiday. The pool is brilliant and we went in every day. On some previous reviews people have commented that getting sun beds round the pool area can be difficult but we always managed to find 2 beds no matter what time of day we went to the pool so didn't have any problem there. On 1 occasion we couldn't get a parasol but the breeze meant that the sun was bearable. A big bonus was that the complex is only a 10 minutes walk from the resort centre and the beach. Sending big thanks to all the staff at the Caybeach who made our stay there a special one. Would we recommend or re-book? A big yes. In fact we have already booked to go back next month and are looking forward to our stay.

  Nice week away

  21 May 2026

I can not complain for what I paid for a week in the sun.Bungalows are basic but clean and everything works.showers are lovely and hot.Beds are comfortable.Food and drinks are priced fairly and they are nice.Caybeach is close to the shops bars and the beach.I did request a room near the pool area as my daughter has a disability.but when we arrived we were given a room that was on the other side of the road and the further away as it is possible to be room 667.I tried to explain to the reception lady but she was unhelpful. If you want to be entertained around the pool then this will not be for you as you only have music around the pool. But overall a great place for a week in the sun.Sun beds are unlocked at 10am and people do queue for them so think they should put a few more out.

  Disappointed this time round

  21 May 2026

We have stayed several times previously which we always enjoyed our stay but this time returning just wasn't the same. The rooms are basic but comfortable for what you need. I would say some areas require an upgrade particularly the kitchens cupboards doors, we had to open the sink cupboard door to open and close the fridge, also sort out the security gates so people can use them, the pool is baltic and always has been so brace yourself.Cleaners work really hard however feel they need better equipment, the towels were like cardboard and the toilet roll like crepe paper. Reception staff some were friendly but a couple of them had attitude and it came across as rude at times especailly when your wanting help, make sure you request late check out as soon as you arrive as asking 5 days before your departure will be a big fat NO as we found out ( courtesy room you have 30mins max) The entertainment definetly needs a uplift, many people mentioned the lack or entertainment and having to ask the animation guy to do something shouldn't be the case, the programme they have should be facilitated regardless, I get some people dont want to do it but should have a choice, inject some fun into people's holidays especailly if they are not looking to go out all the time.Bar staff are really friendly, happy hour starts at 5pm on beer & local spirits ( not how it was before)Caybeach management need to listen to the customers and do better I think if they did it would be such a better atmosphere and customers would utilise the facilities more, open the restaurant back up such a waste of an area improve entertainment, daily activities.Regular customers will start to look elsewhere, there is so many more apartments with better facilities coming in cheaper

  Close to all you need

  11 May 2026

Revisited after a few years and found it was exactly as we hoped. Well located for the bars and Restaurants and close to the beach. The Bungalows are well stocked for self catering. There is a small mini market on site and two larger Supermarkets within walking distance. Recommend taking a dishcloth & pan scrub and washing up liquid if you want to make breakfast etc to clean up. Sun loungers are on each patio. It is quite near the airport so you do get a bit of aircraft noise. but it is not noisy at night. Cleaners come 5 days out of 7. Its good value. Comfortable and clean. You pay €6 for the tv remote deposit but they give you it straight back when you return it.
