Excellent stay
01 Oct 2026
Had a fantastic week in this hotel. The staff were amazing and so helpful. They work so hard. We had an issue with the battery in the door lock maintenance were there to fix it within 5 minutes. Food - something to eat every time (even for the fussiest of eaters like me). Pool areas were brilliant no sunbed wars. I managed to get sunbeds every day regardless of time. However there were still selfish ones with towels out at 7.30am rediculous as there were plenty spare. The hotel was very clean and I think they are refurbing rooms with ceiling fans which will be great. T F, General Manager at Elba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel, responded to this review Dear Joanne,Thank you for sharing such a lovely account of your week with us. It is wonderful to read that you appreciated our helpful team, the cleanliness of the hotel, the choice of food and the pool areas. I am particularly pleased to read that maintenance attended so promptly to the door-lock battery issue, and I will personally pass on your thanks to our colleagues. We appreciate your comments about early towel reservations, even though you were able to find sunbeds throughout your stay. We will take this feedback into account when reviewing the use of the pool areas.Thank you again for your kind recommendation. We hope to welcome you back for another enjoyable holiday.Kind regards,General ManagerElba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel

Would highly recommend this hotel absolutely fantastic. 3 FRIENDS STAYED the hotel was lovely no fans in room so was a bit hot . The staff from reception. Bars . Restaurant. Cleaning staff animations team Martin was a credit to the hotel he was fun lovely and was a fantastic singer absolutely brilliant he was he is a credit to your hotel and should sing more at the shows . I have never been to a hotel that offers so much selection of food that will suit anyone chicken .pork .tuna prawns.pork chops . Steaks fantastic was really impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone . The reception staff they all were amazing and very helpful to be honest all staff were great. The o ly down side was as we don't drink alcohol we wanted a soft drink with our evening meal as half board we could get one as we had to pay by card and not cash luckily one of us had a card to pay as usually we all don't take cards with us .we wasn't told when booking with easy jet you cannot pay for drinks with cash so could be useful if people were told only card and advertise only card to pay for drinks. Apart from that we all enjoyed our stay and this should be a five star hotel and we will be coming back soon T F, General Manager at Elba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel, responded to this review Dear Wendy,Thank you for such a lovely review of your holiday with friends. It is a pleasure to read how much you enjoyed the choice of food and the welcome from our reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping and entertainment teams. I will personally share your kind words with our colleagues, including your special praise for Martin and his singing.I am sorry that you found the room hot and that the payment arrangements for drinks at dinner came as a surprise. Your comments highlight the importance of clear information before and during a stay, and we will review these points with the relevant teams. We are delighted that you all enjoyed your visit and look forward to welcoming you back.Kind regards,General ManagerElba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel

Great for families. Not for couple as very noisy.

Location a bit out of the way. Atmosphere too much for children. We came at school term so we could have quiet. Family hotel. Not for peace and quiet.Rooms are tired but fine beds comfortable. Very hot. Ceilings fan needed. Well equipped. Kitchen. Value. Ok. Needs updating. Staff excellent.
