  Lovely stay,but…

  Just returned from week stay(family of 4) and we had very pleasent time at this hotel. Location is stunning with close access to beautiful beach. I think food was surprisingly good, great quality and good choice( sushi, mexican tacos, great choice of pasta dishes), pizza was absolutely delicious, no different than proper pizzeria quality. Amazing pools with one heated one. Hotel area is very clean, rooms keeping the same standard. General relaxation experience was very good. Downsides: 1.animation team is not catching up with overall quality and they just speak italian regardless the fact that guests are mix of Europeans. I think its a bit unfair, because who speaks Italian? Only Italians I guess?🤷‍♂️Even the evening shows are in Italian. 2. Staff sometimes can be rude or they just give impression that they just don’t care. Not all of them but it is noticable.3 Swimming pools are closing at 18:00! and trust me after 18:00 its a perfect time for swim in a pool after whole day of heat from the sky. It was very dissapointing Generally we had a very good stay at this hotel and i would recommend for family holidays . I couldn’t give more stars because simply i have been to better hotels in Fuerteventura.   This hotel is located right on the beach, and the beach itself is absolutely gorgeous. The food was amazing, with a wide variety of choices every night, including chefs cooking fresh meals for guests. There was something for everyone.It’s a very relaxing hotel, and we went all-inclusive, which was definitely worth it. The pools were great, and one of them was heated. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and equipped with air conditioning.The dining areas were spotless, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, with the option to sit outside as well.The only downside was the evening entertainment. The kids’ entertainment team seemed good, but the nighttime entertainment provided by the hotel team was quite poor.Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely go back — it’s a lovely place.   Lovely 2 weeks in the sunshine

  Family of four with a 3 and 1-year-old, and we’ve just returned from a fantastic two-week stay at the Fuerteventura Princess. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather throughout, which made the holiday even better.There were far more positives than negatives during our stay. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff are constantly working hard to keep the gardens and pool areas spotless, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job cleaning the rooms to a very high standard.The food was good overall. The menu appears to repeat weekly, so after a while you will notice some familiar dishes, but there is enough variety that everyone should be able to find something they enjoy. Lunchtime options by the pool include the usual burgers, pizza, chips and pasta, which worked perfectly for the children.A special mention must go to the animation team, who were absolutely brilliant throughout our stay. Charlie, Marco, Marlon, Sofia and Melissa all worked incredibly hard and always had smiles on their faces despite the long hours they clearly put in. They were fantastic with the mini club activities and aqua gym, and really helped create a fun atmosphere around the hotel. We had seen some previous negative reviews about the entertainment team, but that certainly wasn’t our experience.The hotel’s location right on the beach is beautiful, although there isn’t a huge amount nearby. There is a supermarket around a five-minute walk away, but aside from that the area is fairly quiet.There were only a couple of negatives for us. Firstly, the pools do not open until 10am, which seemed strange with so many young children eager to swim earlier in the morning. The animation team perform an opening dance in front of the pool but very few are watching because nobody is allowed in the pool. Would be better if they performed the song a little later to give them the recognition they deserve.The main issue we experienced involved the hotel photography service. Throughout the holiday, photographers regularly approached guests offering family photoshoots. As we now have a new addition to the family, we thought it would be nice to get a few professional family photos taken.Before booking, we made it very clear that we only wanted a small number of simple family photos — no couple poses, no staged “cheesy” shots and no poolside photos. Unfortunately, the photographer we were assigned, Florin, did not listen to any of our requests. From the beginning, he was quite abrupt and insisted on directing the shoot his own way. Despite us explaining we had limited time and two hungry young children, he continued taking us around different areas of the hotel, including all the way down to the beach, taking far more photos than we had asked for.The following day, we attended the viewing appointment and were made to view over 200 photos. We selected four photos we genuinely liked and were prepared to purchase, but Florin became rude and confrontational, accusing us of wasting his time and being too fussy. We again explained that we had only ever wanted a handful of family photos. Florin tried explaining that ‘majority of families purchase all 200 photos’. At €11 per photo, it is complete rubbish that families are paying €2200 to purchase hundreds of images. His attitude left us so uncomfortable that we decided not to purchase any photos and walk away. It’s worth mentioning that his colleagues were lovely throughout the holiday and appeared embarrassed by the situation.Despite this experience, we genuinely had a wonderful holiday and would happily return. The hotel may not have the huge “wow factor” attractions like large water parks that some resorts offer, but it does everything consistently well. It’s clean, relaxed, family-friendly and set in a beautiful location.Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to families.
