Location

This hotel (Adults Only) lies on a bank overlooking the whole of Costa Calma. The long sandy beach is approximately 900 m (there is a bus transfer service). Countless shops, restaurants and bars are in the hotel's vicinity, just 300 m away; the centre of Costa Calma is 800 m away. Public transport departs are 300 m away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 15 suites and 187 double rooms located in two 3-storey buildings with lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe, a currency exchange service, a newspaper stand, a car hire service and room service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The souvenir shop gives guests the opportunity to bring home mementos of their holiday. Guests of the holiday village are welcome to relax in the garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Guests can also book separate bedrooms. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. A refrigerator and a tea/coffee station are standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (for a fee) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hairdryer. The complex has 202 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 2 heated indoor and outdoor pools. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The wide range of activities offered at the complex ensures that there is something new to do every day, including tennis, bocce, crazy golf and golf. Water sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including table tennis, billiards, darts, squash and callisthenics. There is a wellness area with a spa and a steam bath and, for an additional fee, a sauna, a hammam and massage treatments. The complex offers an entertainment programme for adults.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. The holiday village also offers special catering options.

    Quiet peaceful tranquil hotel and location.

    Very friendly attentive staff all round. Lovely quiet hotel and location with great facilities - the 3 outdoor pools and the indoor luxury spa pool are amazing. Easy 15 min walk to beach. Some may find this resort to quiet, we enjoyed the peace though. The staff are helpful and friendly. Local taxi service is brilliant. Local resort Costa calma has lovely restaurants but is very small and limited in what's on offer however the local restaurants are fantastic especially mamma mia Asia gardens and the steak house nearby. If your looking for peace tranquility and rest this is the place to come. We enjoyed our week away. Excellent sea for swimming too. Clean comfortable rooms which are cleaned daily. This is a good value hotel to stay in.

    Will never come here again meet a few great people here some of the staff are really ignorant hotel manger don't seem to care the food is not that good with not being cooked fully the coffee machine in reception is turned off in the day staff going in to room and going threw your bags i reported it to the hotel manger which he didn't believe me but found out the day after two of the staff were sacked after being seen in people's bags

    Our stay at KN Matas Fuerteventura was absolutely exceptional — genuinely one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Everything felt organised, welcoming, and run to a really high standard.The manager was outstanding and deserves special recognition. He is a true gentleman — warm, professional, and genuinely caring. He checked in with guests every day, always making sure everyone was happy and comfortable. You can tell he takes real pride in the hotel and the guest experience. His presence and attitude made the whole stay feel even more special.The staff were friendly, the food was great, and the whole place had a lovely, chilled vibe. We felt looked after the entire time, and nothing was ever too much trouble.We were so impressed that we’ve already booked to return this year — and this time for 14 days. That’s how much we loved it.A full 5/5 from us.

    First of all the location is a top of hill with nothing around. There was very little atmosphere here it was either dead or really noisy.The room was never cleaned, sheets never changed. Towels never changed. I actually changed them everyday myself from the spa. Emptied bins myself and asked at reception for toilet rolls. Staff ignored you, everyday we complained about the room and nothing happened. Outside the room was like a giant ashtray and was like that for 10 days.Around the pool is never cleaned. Outside bins never emptied. Sunbeds need a good scrub The food was always cold, with flys on. They just don't care. If it wasn't for family we where with and another family we met then the holiday would have been a disaster.

    My Winter holiday home.

    I have just completed 5 visits to Hotel KN Matas Blancas over this past Winter, which I like to call my Winter holiday home. Throughout my 5 stays the reception staff have been professional as ever and were always there on hand to help me with any queries or questions I had. The food in the Dining Room was always up to its usual excellent standard with a wide range to choose from, including a good selection of vegetarian food. A lot of attention was also made to the presentation and layout, with plenty of space for all diners to have access to.I spent many days out walking or scrambling up into the hills and also many days relaxing on the many local beautiful beaches, and all this exercise made the evening meals even more welcoming. The rooms were kept to high standard of cleanliness and it was always nice to return to a clean and tidy room after a day out. The wonderful walk in showers were the perfect antidote to sort out my aching muscles day in/day out. And when I chose to spend the day at the hotel I knew I had the choice of 3 spotlessly clean pools , an amazing spa and a gymnasium to enjoy.Probably the most memorable occasion for me was Christmas Dinner. All the hotel staff made an incredible effort to make sure everyone staying at the hotel had a superb Christmas meal with all the extras that went with it. It honestly felt like I was having a family Christmas dinner back home! Thank you to all of the staff of this wonderful and caring hotel for all you done for me this Winter just gone. See you all next Winter!
