  Nice breakfast and pool area, outdated rooms, poor sleeping

  This should not be a 4 star hotel/apartments maybe a three star. I do not recommend to book the apartment rooms in this hotel unless you are ok to be waken up at 6.30am by the bin truck emptying the glass container every single day!! The bedroom window does not reduce the noise levels at all coming from the street, it looks at least 20 years old... before I booked, requested a quiet room...clearly it was ignored. If I knew the bin men empty the glass bin at stupid o clock every morning, I had requested a different room on day one... The furnitures, the bedroom window, the door lock must be from the 90's. Great selection for breakfast, the pools and the area is great and plenty of beds. Though, people reserve the sun beds with towels which is apparently prohibited to do...the gym is ok for a very basic work out, but no air con. I would not stay here again, unless I had no other option. The location of the hotel is very good, close to restaurants, shops and the beach. 3/5 star review due to the outdated room (described as 4 star hotel, NOT!), and the early hour noises from the street...

  My husband and myself visited this hotel in May for 11 nights. Location wise the hotel is in a perfect position. Right in the centre with the old town on one side and the newer part on the other and right near the beach. The rooms were fine. We had a premium one bedroom apartment which over looked the pool area so were extremely quiet at night. Our room was in the corner so never got any sun but this wasn’t a problem as we aren’t ones for sitting on the balcony anyway. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfy. If I was being picky, I would say the bedroom needs more drawers and coat hangers as there isn’t much storage space. The shower is the best I’ve encountered anywhere. Very powerful and plenty of hot water.The pool area was clean with plenty of sun beds. Doesn’t really matter if you don’t get one as it’s near the beach but you still got the usual sun bed hoggers who put their towels down at 9 o clock and then disappear til 4 o clock. I understand people want to go for lunch or a walk or whatever but not for 7 hours.The breakfast was really really good, something for everyone. The food at the bar was also very good and not at all expensive. The bar prices were excellent for a hotel bar €3 for a pint of Dorada and €5 for a cocktail. A lot of people stayed and had a drink at the hotel bar rather then go out to the strip for an afternoon tipple as the prices were the same as in the town.The staff now they were phenomenal… all of them, reception, housekeeping, kitchen and the amazing bar/ waitressing staff, they are all a credit to this hotel.We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we should visit Corralejo in the future.

  Lovely hotel, a bit dated in the rooms, could do with a bit of a makeover but the rooms were very clean. We didn’t spend much time in the room so this didn’t bother us very much. We did find it a little loud in the night, sounded like there was furniture being moved constantly I think from the room above us, not the hotels fault. The bars would also empty all their bottles into the bins early hours in the morning or late at night which was quite loud.   Great location all you need is close to the hotel. The staff are helpfull, special mention to Rebecca on reception. The same girls work the dinning hall for breakfast and bar in the afternoon. All very friendly and Big David looking after the staff. we booked premium room through Jet2. Two joined single beds, would have prefered a double. The bedroom light and airy, overlooking the pool area. No great noise outside at night. Though there is noise from above, if you have an incosiderate accupant moving furniture arount. Who are these inconsiderate people. Shower head fixed to wall and if you angle it away to stop catching the shower control it splashes onto the bathroom floor past the inadequate shower wall. Only shower gel fixed to wall and at side of sink, no extas! The bedroom is separate from a kitchen area with extra couch bed. Problem is the TV is in this room and not bedroom. Big fridge, microwave, hot plates and basics of a kitchen. Kettle. Two small bottles of water on arrival only. Similarly no replen of coffee/tee making items after first day. No milk. Breakfast has everything. Good.The cups were not cleaned and no wahng up liquid provides or dishcloth. Because its comes with the kitchen they expect you to provide your own. Also, I raised a complaint as the top quilt had been neatly straightened, Pull the quilt back and the bed had not been made. Never had that in a hotel before.The downsides. Sun beds not very comfortable then the smell which I can only presume is comming from some drains. Not there all the time, but needs to be investigated. I thought the enclose pool area would be sheltered from the wind by the surrounding hotel walls, but not so. Still windy on the beds. Certainly an older age group use this hotel. The basics are there, you get what you pay for. Having said all that we enjoyed our stay. Knowing what we know now we would stay again.We dinned out every night having done some homework regarding where to eat. Splahed the cash and had some very good meals.Finally, there were no USB outlets in our room. Just a single socked eitherside of the bed for bedside light. I had a short extention to plug the light in, then other sockets for chargers. WiFi was good throughout the complex. If the suns out its windy!!

  Outstanding value hotel

  Absolute outstanding value for money. We had a premium pool view room on 2nd floor on a b&b basis. And for what we paid for it is outstanding. The whole hotel is very clean excellent polite staff from reception to cleaners to bar and restaurant. Breakfast was very varied and can not see why negative reviews are here. Location is 10 out of 10 also.
