  We stayed a year ago and were satisfied with the hotel. We never intended to return, however when we received a good deal, we decided to return.The hotel in 2025 wasn’t quite up to the same standards of other 4 star hotels in the area, but since then it has unfortunately slipped further. The food isn’t as good as previously, other facilities have been removed- i.e night club and most drinks are now via machine.We never had any contact from the Jet 2 rep ( if there was one)- not the hotels fault i know, but it didnt help the overall experience.The hotel is in a beautiful setting with amazing grounds but it is getting tatty inside.If you get a cheap deal, maybe give it a go, but dont expect the Ritz. But i wouldnt pay decent money to visit again. It almost has started to feel like a budget hotel, and being 4 star is far to generous

  Amazing experience 10/10

  I had the most amazing 7 nights at the R2 Pajara beach hotel and spa. Checking in was a breeze , the reseption staff walked us through the layout of the hotel and where to find our room. Helped myself to a mimosa presented near the reception area and appreciated the amazing view 10/10. Our room was located near the pool area which was amazing as we had easy access to the pools from the moment we woke up. Rooms where cleaned everyday which was most appriciated.Speaking about the pools , thery where clean , tropical looking and they had an infinity looking pool with a gourgeous view to the sea. We were not too fused about the cold pool but for those who are there is a heated pool located closer to the hotel. Location was 10/10 honestly the beaches around where lovely and a 15 minute walk to the closest shops, supermarket, pharmacy and night life. The staff worked so hard everyday with smiles on there face. Although more staff would be apreacitated in bar areas , i didnt have to wait more than 5 minutes for a drink. Animation team where superb , shout out to the DJ who honestly made the evenings/nights entertaining (was actually sore from all that dancing). Food was great , they had alot of selections and different themes ,loved the mexican style food theme. Coctails where not the best , stuck to mixers most of the time but the mojitos they sell in the beach bar (not all inclusive) was amazing , still think about it till this day. Took some lovely pictures with the photogrophers in the hotel , a bit pricey but loved the way the photos came out. Hotel was not noicy in my experience , i could hear the birds trupping in the background whilst sunbathing which was so realxing.Atmosphere was varied , mostly tailoured to the German population , my latin american partner felt like people would stare quite alot. But the staff where friendly and mostly from latin america which made him feel more at ease. Overall for what we payed and the experience we had was a 10/10.   An unforgettable week and a half at the R2 Pajara Beach & Spa hotel in Costa Calma, Fuerteventura, in March 2026!This unique, modern, well-maintained hotel boasts a unique location and design, an extensive outdoor and indoor recreational program, and a spa. Situated on a rocky stretch of the Costa Calma coastline, near the village center and a 12-15-minute walk from the famous Sotavento beach and lagoon.The reception and administration staff are the first to greet you and create a first impression – bravo! The team is highly professional, welcoming, prompt and accurate in their service, courteous, and friendly. We were also impressed with the professionalism and hospitality of all the other teams – housekeeping, maintenance, security, kitchen, bar, waiters, and the entertainment team. Of course, this is also thanks to the hotel management. My heartfelt thanks to everyone.The hotel offers everything for true relaxation, especially active recreation – for families, couples, and solo travelers.This unique hotel complex, featuring a waterfall inside the main building, is laid out in terraces and features a beautifully maintained park-garden with fountains outside. It impresses with the functionality of all its rooms and outdoor facilities, including a diverse outdoor recreation area with several swimming pools (one heated), sports grounds, a spa, a mini-club, and more. Parking is available. A company specializing in scuba diving and snorkeling is located on the hotel grounds. Windsurfing schools are located nearby. The main building offers a fitness center, a cozy small library, a computer area, multifunctional lounges, and bars, including one with a panoramic view of the bay.All facilities are ergonomically designed, eliminating the feeling of overcrowding, noise, and fuss. Instead, they offer a sense of comfort, spaciousness, light, and relaxation. Most rooms offer stunning panoramic views of the sea and the park-garden with pools and fountains.The hotel room is modern, spacious, and has everything you need, a very comfortable bed and pillow, and excellent soundproofing.All-inclusive meals were a great experience. The food was fresh, delicious, and varied, featuring renowned dishes from Spanish, Canarian, and Latin American cuisine. Kudos to the chefs!   Brilliant family stay, would definitely recommend

  We really enjoyed our stay here, it was clean, family friendly (lots of activities throughout the day and night), lots of variety in the food and the hotel was clean and well organised. We arranged to move rooms as the room we were in was very noisy next to the stage area, the staff were really accommodating. In terms of all inclusive, beer, cava, sangria is decent - the cocktails are really basic and not that pleasant - just usual machine cocktails (the Pina colada was ok). There is a big difference to lunch in the main restaurant itself and the snack bar but there is pretty much some food available at all times. The restaurant was open until 9pm so we even managed to get food on arrival which was useful! The entertainment staff are brilliant, really personable, always encouraging people to get involved in activities etc. Location of the hotel was next to a beautiful beach, a walk away (there is a restaurant and another bar down by the side of the beach which aren't included in all inclusive but well worth a look). We hired a car and there was plenty of free parking available outside the hotel. All I would say is due to the location it's very much a resort hotel with most amenities being a good 45 minute walk away - definitely worth getting a car if you can as it's cheaper than the transfers usually and allows you to visit nearby beaches/ bars etc. The pools are huge, there is yoga by the beach and water aerobics etc - we absolutely loved the stay for the price.
